I grew up in L.A. & used to ride my motorcycle through these neighborhood's back in the 80's! Now they are tearing down the history of the city! Really sad! Bring back the good'ol days! But thank Chris- your videos are great!

This are by sure, very lonely people! Maybe they have "friends", like most rich once have! Friends who are not deserving that name! They are there as long if there is money and partys! Like the woman you see on such partys! There is nothing honest! I can say, my friends are there, even if i would just have water to drink. Sometimes we are sitting with 20 people, and some children around the open fire! On the floor! Younger, older, mittel age and we are singing and laughing! Honestly saying, if i see thst houses, i can not sing or play the guitar! But my friends are staying! With or without money! If one of us is sick, we have help! Many people would like to be rich! Well, it is great to have a bit of money on the bank, in case of trouble with health or something like that. It is important to have healthy food and warm winter clothes! I don't want to have so much money that i could easyly could buy an House for 150 millions! i think that i would lose the reality! Now i think of others! Than? I would change! Maybe automatically?

I recommend if you like looking at mansions in Beverly hills/holmby hills you look at owlwood which has 10 acres and was built in the 1930s.

Okay, so I was up in LA yesterday for the Kings game and decided to do my own drive bye tour through Holmby Hills. I saw just a glimpse of the Playboy Mansion and then the Manor. All I can say is WOW! Amazing they were able to build that massive on such a hilly property.

Sure there are enough rich people out there to buy these kind of homes, but who is really rich enough to be able to actually live there? What I mean is, the utilities, the maintenance, the cost of living, taxes, etc... all add up even for the richest person.

I was in Holmby Park just yesterday and I read that the Manor is on the market again. Not sure how much the house has been listed for but do you think you could give us a glimpse on the inside? The Llama Lady: Seattle has ultra luxurious mansions on Lake Washington Blvd and the streets are empty. There aren’t any kids playing, no one is outside . It’s as though the houses are bought for investments and they are sitting empty.

Years ago , we traveled to Los Angeles area and took a tour on through BelAir and Rodeo Dr. I enjoy watching your videos , there's other towns we never visit. St.Louis , Missouri where's the Mansions are and some on the East side of Illinois . There's one home , my spouse would like to move in , it has 240 acres , the yard is manicured , 14,000 sq ft home , 9 bedrooms , 11 bathrooms , much more , for $7 million dollars. Private Gate , Security , next to a golf course

Wow ! with the exception of the Spelling estate the prices of those homes were fairly modest 9 yrs. ago ; now look at the prices of many of the properties on that street and that area in general in 2019 ! Mindblowing .

@Puzzoozoo exactly! i moved to L.A. a yr & a half ago. i live in beverly hills & very rarely go into bel air except when i get my nails and hair done cause the place i go to is in bel air. i defs have noticed the no sidewalks thing. very different to where i grew up.

Excellent video and tour, thank you for posting. I chuckled at “listed @ $28.5 million... quite a grand house, if that’s your style”..... my style is deciding if I should or should not splurge $1.95 for the guacamole at Chipotle. If commision is %10, does that mean mean you’re making 1-2 million per sale?? Incredible.
