I see a golden opportunity to collaborate with David’s tea. A collection box with a holo David’s tea mug, matching nailpolish colour, and a special tea flavour. I’d buy it 😂
She did have a sponsorship deal with them awhile ago. They used to have a "Cristine's favourites" page where she would make money off of the things people have bought off of it. Sadly, David's Tea hasn't put out holographic tumblers in quite some time and it's really sad.
Although it was not an official David's tea collab, the round box behind Ben's is the tea collection where she put out tea-named polishes. It was more or less at the same time she had the simply's favourites at David's tea website.

As Royal tea member I can say that I've had maybe 3 little problems out of all my many many orders. All of them were resolved in a very quick pleasant way. Your customer service team is TOP notch 👌
Yep I was sent a wrong polish once. Which they told me to keep and also sent me the correct one! I was worried because it was a limited polish, but it wasn't an issue. They're great.
Holo Royalty here, I have had a few instances to reach out to them, and some weren't fully their fault (I had a pretty smushed collection box). Their customer service is pretty great and responsive.

A rainbow in the crushed holo formula would be amazing, especially in a range of new shades (not replicating any of the existing rainbow linear holos) 🤞🏻xx

Yes I liked the names except Original Recipe. It would need to be launched with other things that strongly evoke some other imagery because all I thought of when I heard that one was KFC Original Recipe 😂 and then I kinda remembered when she did a flavored nail polish tasting with Ben jenn and Matt and thought of a chicken flavored polish 😅
I really appreciate how LE items are staying in stock for longer and there's less pressure to have to be on the site right away when everything drops. Thanks for this episode it's so interesting and insightful 🖤

IP collabs are awesome if they are well thought out and have a ton of references in shade names and packaging. I'd love to see some with Holo Taco. The only time I see people get annoyed with them is when someone like MAC cosmetics gets a hold of something like The Sims. They did absolutely nothing with it. It looked like a five minute concept art done in photoshop.
Plus she added songs that didn't make the original cut. It could have been fun to hear of some polishes that didn't make it into past collections that she would put in the collection now if she released it again.

I really appreciate how much holo taco does to make sure there’s enough supply of limited items to give customers a chance to get it without feeling the pressure. 1:01:45 royalty polish was so well stocked when I did buy an extra bottle, I didn’t feel like I bought it out of panic and had the chance to try it and know I wanted extra.
Been buying since the OG Rainbow Collection and would kill for a rerelease/redo/whatever of the 1st Anniversary Collection. The holo flakies are some of my favorite polishes and would love for more colored holo flakie toppers. Just saying :)
The OG box is my white whale, it’s the only one I don’t have. It launched when I was in retail and the store forced my to stay at the register for hours singlehandedly checking out a holiday rush line. I had to skip my break by the time I was free it was sold out. I won’t pay the eBay scalpers hundreds of dollars, I just hope one day you’ll revisit it 💙
THANK YOU for your transparency and sharing your vision nad priorities for the company! I only recently realized that all of this played a huge part in influencing and justifying my Holo Taco purchases - to the point where when someone asks why I have so many bottles, it takes forever to explain all the different reasons why I follow you and love what you've built! I can see that it takes SO. MUCH. WORK. to constantly make good decisions for you, the company, and your customers! I am one of the 90% of people that hardly ever comment because as you said, when nothing's wrong there's nothing to say. So I just wanted to speak up and say THANK YOU to you, Ben, and the team for making Holo Taco what it is today!

Omg crushed holo Rainbows! That'd be epic. There's room for both in the catalogue. The linears are fantastic for nail art. But holo microflake is so different from linear. You're going for a different vibe. Also there's not a whole bunch of holo microflake in the basic rainbow on the market, even in the indie
I would cry-laugh if Holo Taco x Taco Bell became a thing that would be HILARIOUS🤣 But for me personally, what fucking irritated me about all those major corporations pairing with influencers was the money hungry emptiness of it all. So many of them - both the influencers and the corporations - were doing it purely for money. Problematic, harmful, selfish influencers were being promoted and celebrated and paid MILLIONS by these companies that gave zero fucks about the actual people purchasing their products. And influencers were jumping onto these big corporate deals with companies who had decades of problematic and harmful history and negligent sustainability and safety efforts. So to summarize, what pisses me off is the soulless exchange of money for fame for money for fame for money for fame for hoards of wasteful consumerism. On the other hand, Simpy and Holo Taco, y'all have the consistent history of vetting your interests and only doing what you genuinely enjoy, what actually means something to you, and what can have a positive impact on your audience, consumer base, and even charity beneficiaries. So Ben, I totally hear what you're saying; but it was never about the companies, it was about the infuriatingly flagrant lack of integrity and authenticity that had us "over it all," and in fact it would be a pretty cool and welcome refreshment to see it in Holo Taco🥰
I’ve been really hoping Holo Taco releases an iridescent/pearl polishes 💿💎🐚I’ve bought a few polishes for myself and as gifts but I never wear glitters or flakes but love the look of a smooth shimmery polish! Here’s to hoping 🤞
1st anniversary collection was my first purchase, along with Play Rosé and the Super Glossy Taco (RIP) and Long Lasting Base. I’ve bought all the LE box collections since then, so it’s cool to know I own the only 3 polish box HT will ever make! I’m ready for more crushed holo, jellies, and neon (besides jellies) for the future! Also this brand got me back into a hobby I neglected during COVID, which was doing my own nails. I did gel salon manicures when I used to work in food service, but now that I do office work, this is a way for me to treat myself and have fun. My polish collection is basically 95% Holo Taco lol But I used to have drugstore polish from elementary school age until high school… probably almost 300 polishes at that time.

Omg that’s so good. I hope that one’s on her list! It’s something people that don’t know her videos will still understand, but is also so relevant to her for all the fans. Next vacation collection, or an ocean themed collection would be awesome too. I’m guessing she won’t do that since blues aren’t a great seller but would be fun like barista where it’s different shades of brown to have different shades of blue (I’ll take the crushed holo please lol) with ocean theme names
Cristine hit it on the head. I definitely started buying more HT around the first anniversary collection, and even then I didn't get the collection box; I only bought the blue and purple toppers since I don't use gold all the time. But then I saw more and more gold manis that convinced me I should have bought it at the time. There wasn't a lot available at the time either but now that's no longer the case. There's a polish combo (creme case, holo base, chrome base, metallic base with a bevy of topper options) that out there now for everyone and those combinations are endless! That's what I can truly appreciate as HT is coming to its 4th year and I think Cristine's approach has been such a different way from what other brands do and for me as a customer, that's honestly what makes me come back and share and talk about HT to anyone who says hey I like your nails! And I proudly say "thanks, it's Holo Taco!" and it gives me every chance to talk about not only the brand, but also the person behind the brand.
I would LOVE the og flakie trio with no box! I'm missing 2 of the 3 which are in colors that are totally my wheelhouse! Totes looking forward to the 4th anniversary and the nostalgia this weekend!!
Yay!!! Can’t wait for the newest launch and the nail oil pen! Also Cristine is right … we all want Existential Crisis 😭😭 I was later to hopping on the Holo Taco train because I worked at Starbucks full time (unable to paint my nails). When I transitioned to working from home/office job I became a HT Royalist lol. That’s why I missed some of the beginning collections. I would love to see a couple top top sellers come back. But I’m also happy to keep moving forward! I just really love the brand and the creator. The quality, customer service, creativity, soul, etc. is why I keep returning 💖 thank you both for your hard work!
my holo taco strategy has always been to wait for a limited edition drop and tack on the permanent items i've been wanting for months! it's worth the wait ALWAYS, and i get the cool stuff i want :D
For a quick second, I laughed when you talked about looking at nail polish swatches under the stove light…until I realized I do the exact same thing! After every single manicure, I check my nails under the stove light when I go into the kitchen, lol. It truly is the best lighting! 😁. Happy Anniversary, HT- as a jelly-formula lover, I’m really looking forward to getting these jelly polishes!
re: collabs - I think they are well received when the collab makes sense to the audience and doesn't just seem like a "cash grab". Like random celebrity adding their name to a product but having no creative input on it (ex. those boring ass "celebrity McDonald's meals") is seen as meh... but a fun Holo Taco Bell where you play off the brand colors and merge styles = fun :) So excited for Safyia's! [petition for a Threadbanger one next?]

I would die for more gradient themed collections in all the colors! You did the neutrals, now start with red and work your way thru the rainbow doing 3-5 perfectly gradient shades for each color family 😍 imagine the nail art possibilities 😍
As a liberal Texan surrounded by a conservative family & general society, thanks for not taking that unsolicited advice. It's important for people to see that other's, including companies, share similar values when some of us are so isolated in our daily lives. It's a nice reminder that we're not alone.
Some unsolicited business advice: I think your customers would receive a collab well as long as it's authentic; if you're collabing with a company/ IP that you've established you care about or if it fits your sense of humor (ex. taco bell), I think people will love it, it's fun with Saf because we all know you're friends and she likes beauty too, but if a collab seems like a cash grab, it's never well received, which is why people likely got tired of them in the first place
Congrats on 4 Holo amazing years!!! I very recently sent an email to CS due to a very minor issue but something I wanted to raise/ask the question and it did take me a lil bit to word the email and it ended up being a massive essay in the end cause I wanted it to try and set the correct ‘tone’ so to speak, and after not only the amazing response from the team, to hear Cristine say she appreciates those types of emails/inquiry makes me glad I did it in the way I did and not just a short straight to the point email. Holo Taco has such an amazing team, and such an amazing leader, and it shows in every aspect of the company, It makes me so happy and proud to support and watch you both grow, even tho I’m a nobody to you, a lot of people are proud of how much you put into your work ❤
i think the barista bundle will forever be my favorite collection because of how well planned it was and how gorgeous they turned out!! i totally agree with the leveraging of the crushed holo formula with neutrals since it created a ton of love for the formula as well as appreciation for neutrals so it benefitted in both directions, it’s the collection i recommend to all friends when they ask about my nails hehe
i just wanna say that i’ve been a fan for a very very long time, and i’m so proud of everything you have accomplished cristine! i can’t wait to see what’s next for holo taco❤❤❤
I love the data streams and the bits of data info we may be gifted with during launches. It's fascinating and fun because no one else does this! I also loved, loved, loved being able to be part of making polishes for a Royalty Reward. I was most looking forward to it and the products that we collectively came up with were stunning! I bought four of Glamethyst alone because it came out exactly how I thought it would and others were obviously on the same page and that alone is so interesting. R.I.P. that lost green one, but I can't wait to see what we come up with again! Thank you both and all of the people who make Holo Taco exist as it does!
I absolutely appreciated the way that HT introduced the rewards program and rewarded your loyal customer base right out of the gate. Of course that is majorly biased because I’m in the Holo Royalty Tier and have been from the start. 😂 but I’ve never had the experience of a brand introducing a rewards program with such consideration to existing customers. ❤ it is appreciated.
I absolutely would buy both the rainbow and dark rainbow collections in crushed holo! It’s my new favorite formula, I will literally buy it in every shade lol.
Shoutout to the small portion of Royaltea that loves their green polishes more! I know we are mostly purple people but crimes and punishmint, lost in the woods, and mint money are some of my most worn polishes from this brand.
Watching after the aniverary collection came out and love how you just dropped 2 shade names in the closing lol. Wonder if anyone caught that before launch. Ya'll are such sneaky trolls (in the best possible way of course).
The two things I want the MOST from holo taco are neon cremes and like bridal/light pink/nude cremes. You guys have an amazing creme formula and I know HT is based on glitter but I’ve been totally remaking my whole collection with HT and I’d love more cremes and less glitter :/
