I listen to all the survivors stories. Great heros. All interviewers are very polite. But this interviewer is rude and harsh. Please understand that these are people who have survived the worst and would never want to recollect those unpleasant experience. But for our sake they open up. They need to be respected and treated gently.

It's a testimony. Same thing as is done in court, only less rude and the interviewer doesn't try to suppress information they don't want to come to light.

Considering that no more testimonies are being recorded, for obvious, if sad reasons, I wonder about the point of your complaint. It serves no purpose.

Thank goodness my family left Vilna in 1917. One uncle remained only to be lost during WWII.i feel a kinship with where my father was born.

This woman was precious. The interviewer almost made me not watch. The whispering cues in a rude way, when offered food she answered so rudely, and never said thank you for the offer or anything. Very robotic and impersonal

Why is the interviewer whispering cues to her? Makes you wonder how much influence the Shoah Foundation has on what is and isn't included in the testimonies.

2:06:00 ‘The Wise Men of Chelm’ is a blason popularise - similar to that of Gotham in England, Boeotia/ Cyrene for the Ancient Greeks/ Caracal for Romanians/ Phrygia for Ancient Anatolians etc. Essentially a localised population of knowledgeable people with a lack of common sense in completing tasks.

I don’t know what guidelines or training the interviewers were given, but this woman needs to be retrained. She is abrasive, co trolling and many times down right RUDE. I am embarrassed for her and she needs to acknowledge this is NOT her story.
