Another thing. When using an anvil, it tells you what percentage you have to upgrade and item. If your item is under max level, it will always be 100%. Only after you try to levem them past max will they start lowering the percentage (and charging you money).
0:47 at the shop at top theres three categories you can choose from Enhancements(white) Stat Upgrades(gray) Others(gray) Buying from stat upgrade can greatly help you the clearing the stages. Stage 2 it is kinda hard without some upgrades. (and you picked up halu which is making the enemies tougher but in return more rewards) Anyways nice vid bro 👍
To break down the Elite Lava Bucket: Sakura Miko has burnt down her minecraft house with some accidental misclicks. Twice. Miko also claims to be "elite". The 10-minute midboss for stage 2 is Mikodanye, which is a super chibi version of Miko given mascot form; you can see her at various Hololive events IRL. Her name is a reference to how Miko tends to speak in character; she tends to nasalise vowel sounds, so the common Japanese sentence ending, "ne", tends to come out as "nye"
Moona does a lot of karaoke streams, and has a fair amount of original songs and covers. So if you are curious I highly recommend listening to her as she is a reallt good singer, among the best for the Indonesian branch.
Game is Hella fun (and free). The fact that the character skills can markedly make a difference to how you approach your builds. Gura for instance has Short Height which seems like a basic survivability skill. But if you build into it with Headphones, Breastplate and a heal like nurse horns, she becomes nigh invincible. It's just good 20min of fun
The general strategies are to level up your main weapon and "Skills" first. There are: Skills weapons And Items Level up your skills first as they are catered to your specific character. They exist only to buff your character and make it easier to use them. Not leveling them up is sort of like only using half their potential. Your main weapon will, for the majority of the time, be your best DPS. Finding items that can combine and make "Collab Weapons" can be something you can explore after leveling up your weapon and skills. After you've played and know a couple of collabs or your speed stops being a hindrance, you can pick weapons that will become collabs later, but you should still focus on you skills first
You probably have been told this on other videos but was just gonna mention that the "fans" the Halu item mentions is the enemies. So by taking Halu you make your enemies stronger and spawn more of them. It is an item you use for farming coins at a later stage when you already have plenty of upgrades.
You might want to get a Fauna. With a few duplicates copies (this does add a minor buff to her spd, atk, and health) , Fauna can clear stage two with life heal.
Several things: 1. You might wanna get the stat ups in the shop next, as the stage select recommends you get 2 attack and 2 speed at minimum. 2. Spending money on the anvils is not the most optimal play early game, as the shop and character gacha requires a LOT of money in the long run. Halu in particular is a huge source if your both bold and well-prepared enough to full send it. Tho there is another money method: check the Holo House below the first main menu option. 3. Level up your weapons to max level 7 instead of spreading your options too thin. Try getting Spider Cooking and Lava Bucket to level 7 each. I'll let you figure it out from there, but I will say that Overleveling with anvils doesn't carry over.
Just really wish you would read what's on the screen more, no need to rush. Not to mention, YT algorithm still prefers longer videos since the pandemic, so it's a win-win.
With many characters going for max level main weapon is a pretty good bet, but there are some that do not have great main weapon "awakenings". Personally, I like to pick up 1-2 weapons that I like early as well. That also decreases the probability of getting an item you don't want from a box. Skills are usually good too, many of them have great synergies with certain items and weapons. As someone already said, anvil upgrades can only fail when upgrading max level weapons. Actually, I think they only start failing when upgrading from +1 level to +2 and beyond.
The Spider Cooking ability is a reference to Usada Pekora ordering, then cooking and eating a tarantula, live on stream. She also did the same for a scorpion iirc. The boss at 10 minutes in was a Sakura Miko, the Elite Shrine Maiden. Her trying to practice her "Elite English" with Kiryu Coco while pretending to be a tourist in America is some great comedy.
