Recording a shaker and a tiny music box that has approximately 10 usable notes with Microcosm’s looper to create what can only be described as peaceful noises #shorts
Of all the FX Pedals and even DAWs that I've seen...with this Microcosm, you can literally fart and burp and this thing will make your flatulence sound like experimental, ambient shoegaze.
I’m intrigued by one, but it’s also clear a big part of the appeal behind these types of pedals is that they can make somebody’s lack of ideas sound like big ideas.
you really have to think of it as a exploration tool and not like a plug in, I have been borrowing my brothers and I just stuck to simple sounds like guitar or piano to really hear what it was doing and just take your time and see what the knobs do! Good luck =D
thanks for the kind words! the pedal's settings are visible in this particular video; Mosaic B was used, and the other parameter values can be seen from the knobs.
@@HologramElectronics can I get a cheap phantom powered pre amp and plug my sm57 direct into the microcosm? and then record it through my interface? having difficulties with my set up
@@NNYz SM57s aren't condenser mics so you don't need phantom power. But yeah, you could get an affordable mic pre (presonus, ART, etc) and plug the 1/4" out from the preamp into Microcosm and it would basically be the same as what we did here
@@HologramElectronics just a standard non-phantom powered mic-pre in between my mic and the 'cosm? sweet! thank you! black unit arrives soon and I want to be prepared!
@@smogolmaxim6351 That part I don't know. But what are you asking for? The sound is all Microcosm. If you need to know how to connect audio devices, then I suggest checking some tutorials because I can't help you with that myself 😅
