well i have a similar experience, i spent around $200 try to get Merlin when he first came out but i didn't get him, But then at the next GSSR after that he just pop out of nowhere geeezzz.

Well that happened to me in this gssr When Sherlock came out, I got instead Jeanne D arc (with rainbow orbs and all, the biggest spook). In the gssr I wanted whatever saber, or Amakusa or the emperor, then I got Sherlock...

same story as me i fail on hokusai banner 760+ sq and 60 tickets and boom nothing, not even a spook ssr and then she came to my at my gssr.

I did like 100+ pulls on Summer 2... and got nothing (and did the same with Skadi, but at least she gave me Beowulf, Herc, and Mordred). But I did get Okita off 2 Tickets and Ishtar off like 7 when I wasn't really trying for them. I also got 2 Gils from Gilfest and NP5 Yagyu on Shuten's banner.

I used 2.4k sq on Holmes to get nothing

Getting a SSR servant is really difficult more than SR servants and except for Gawain who is at NP1 all of my SR servants are NP2 or above. Solo rate ups are better for rolling that with a share rate up but if you don't have a choice then roll for it. Then GSSR banners is better than the rate ups but then again you might not get the servant you want. But Damn 200 pulls on Sherlock Holmes, I had the same experience with Merlin, I really went all in but but so many spooks then again I didn't get Merlin and I hadn't rolled for the rest of the year so I relying of the tickets and free SQ for that time period. Thankfully I did get Skadi on a ticket, I have Waver, Tamamo and Skadi and still don't have Merlin. And I'm also a Rin Tohsaka fan so I have NP5 Ishtar, NP5 Ereshkigal and planning for Space Ishtar here on FGO NA.

Your subs are all over the place, you're probably better off not doing English subtitles when shes speaking English. I know that hardsubbing is a pain to do so if you want to practice or w/e just use the RU-vid subtitle/cc feature.
