@@draydenferguson3128 cover corp started out as a tech company, that was developing vr, hololive was originaly an app they developed for sora's stream. Sora was the OG dreamer of being an idol, a-chan was the one who found cover as a tech company, to get them to agree to lend out their tech so sora could be a virtual idol. And from there, it developed in to the hololive we know today. The start was REALY rough, and there where massive hurdles, but without soras dream, a-chan's help, and tanigo's tech and investment, none of it would have happened. From soras stream, it brached out to gen0, and hololive became a branch of cover corp, and not just an app to track soras stream. And the rest is history

They have people who make sure they pronounce names right, for all sports announcers actually. It’s just a professional courtesy, it would be embarrassing if they pronounced guest performers name it would be worse if they did that with a players name

I mean why would he laugh from saying Japanese? lol. 9/10 the announcer didnt know that the names are exaggerated, and thought it was jsut Japanese.

It’s west coast baseball, the announcer probably takes night classes at the Los Angeles county community college so he can get the Japanese players names down like a native.

@@OsinakiKun 1) I never interpreted your comment as being mean or anything. 2) It is. I looked it up on Tangorin kanji dictionary. "ya" is right next to "hachi", and both of them are under the kanji "八"

Their talents have been at the top of v-tuber popularity and views for a while now and we are up to EN gen 4 now (plus Irys who came in by herself between gen 2 and 3). The latest group (Justice) are doing really well and debuted about 3 weeks ago. Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame (just call her Liz) from the UK, Cecilia from Germany, Raora from Italy and GiGi who is I think US but I'm not sure. They are even building a EN office branch in LA.
