This is my favourite mission in this game. The tense music, the weaving through the mountains, barely being able to pin each other down, the set-up for Mihaly, The sheer amazement of Trigger's skill from teammates, I just love it.

Ace Combat i feel like is one of the most slept on Namco games out there. I didn't find out about the series until 4 was already out, and i was a big flight sim kid at the time. The story is incredibly stupid and only serves to get you to the next set piece and in a new plane, and it's worth it. The bombing missions are my favorite because any time you have to fly low to the ground, or navigate vallied terrain, your adrenaline is kicking. I bought this game at launch but for whatever reason it just sat in my steam library and i started playing it two months ago. So i thought it was funny that fubuki is doing a play through now. She hasn't caught up to where i'm at but she's close. I need to finish it before the next one. Thanks for the upload!

So dang cute By the way here's common mistake performed by almost all new players of any air combat games; not accelerating when needed to. For example, she slowed down when a missile in front of her, therefore taking a hit; what I would do if I was playing is to accelerate then wait for the missile to get a bit closer, then make a sudden turn the other way, so the missile won't have enough reaction time to follow you. When dogfighting a bandit, try to decrease your air speed when having circular fight, so you won't overshoot and create an opening for the bandit, but don't slow down too much, otherwise the lack in airspeed would kill you as well. Anyway that just my style of flying lol.

I must say, people are independently getting better at rendering different levels of Japanese formality / tone, without it being awkward. Your "it is I, Fubuki." Or Hololive's own "I daresay," for Iroha's "de gozaru." I've thought about "chan" being like " lil' " or "lil' buddy."

If i had watched this back in 2019, i'd have suggested farming Long day till you buy either the Su-34 or the F-15E for this mission. The SFFS make this mission a breeze. But again, not everybody is a moron like me who grinded these two levels (bcoz faceless soldier is one of the most frustrating missions to S rank) to the point of getting the YF-23 (I didn't have PS+ that year, so no MP for me)

She may suck but man is the cutters dogfight i saw on my life
