That time sora and the other member in hololive is not really look close, they still call her sora senpai, not like right now as Sora-chan.... and sora is not streaming everyday like the other,, even tho sora is gen 0 same like robocco, miko, AZki, Suisei but sora is the longest (only her that time hololive has idol)
As far as I know, Sora basically carried Hololive on her shoulder for years before it exploded into popularity, and yet i know nothing about her. Her clips don't get that much recommended either. I need to dig deeper.
Oh don't worry, most people only know about the crazy/memey side of holo live. Sora is 20 year old girl and has been a vtuber for 3 years. She started as a virtual jk before becoming a virtual idol because of her voice. She has normal demeanor but fearless and speaks her mind so in a sense has a strong personality. Her dream is to one day perform a one man show at yokohama arena. Her sub counts doesn't matter cause out of her youtube/nico nico/bili bili she's by far well respected by a lot of v-tubers/singers and real idols. Even Mito of nijisanji is afraid of failing if she's paired with sora and they're the same generation. You won't see alot of translated videos her cause the streams are usually just her chilling and play games while talking to her fans or talking about her upcoming concerts or her collabing with other vtubers outside hololive usually Vsingers like her and doing cover/original songs so there's not much to subbed there
She often plays minecraft with Tenjin Kotone, there are plenty of translations from Spring Wisteria (on break at the moment). You can see Sora hanging out with someone on equal footing which is very nice and chill.
lol with me becoming new to their streams/clips seeing older stuff like this before they really built up their server is amazing. Their love for Sora is heartwarming and scary at the same time lol

I remember back the when I got Sora recommended on RU-vid but didn’t much paid attention to it since I was more focused on Kizuna Ai and Press collab but damm how time changes. I’m still watching Kizuna but not as frequently like Hololive en and jp

It's not just for being the first. They are genuine fans. Miko especially, worships her as her favorite idol and credits her for inspiring and saving her career.
She is actually a genuine celebrity in the vtuber field. It's not only hololive members that behave this way, a lot of vtubers outside hololive also behave this way to her
The way its written in romaji doesnt really matter it'll still be read as chi,they dont have l in their kana and halo(haro) and hello is pretty much the same
There is two system of romanji, one the hepburn system, where „chi“ comes from, is for foreigners easier to pronounce the words when they are learning japanese, so its more beneficial for non-japanese. The other system is called kunrai-shiki, that is easily understood by the Japanese, and could be perceived as a plausible writing system for the Japanese language. TL;TR: Kunrei-shiki is created for Japanese who write English. Hepburn is created for foreigner who write Japanese.
@@snow-yuki interesting. there is something similar (not exactly the same with some Indian languages) for example they use T for typical TH sound in english, and use TH for typical T sound in english. to me it seems counter intuitive because if you are aware of how english letters sound, TH should produce the same sound regardless of it being romaji(or equivalent for other languages) or proper english word. but i guess it makes sense for certain language as their T counter part has TH sound. "
