[Hololive] Subaru Plays Through: Titanfall 2! "The Fold Weapon" [ENG SUB] 

Hi! I'm back with more notes from Subaru's post-game SC reading! But before that! A reminder to go check out Subaru's channel if you haven't! It's been awesome seeing all the love and appreciation people still have for Titanfall 2 (and obviously Subaru), thanks for sticking around! -/- SC reading notes: -She really liked the whole "Trust me!" bit, where at first it seems like BT is almost joking in a "Everything is fine" kind of way, but then at the end it turns into a serious and emotional line. -Viper was really awesome but really strong! She felt like she'd heard the name before, to which chat pointed out the IRL aircraft which reminded her that she hasn't seen the new Top Gun yet. -Chat recommended some games to follow up Titanfall 2: *CoD* Subaru: "I thought about having Botan over for that, but then again I don't wanna be bawling my eyes out next to someone" *Armored Core* Subaru: "Does Armored Core have a story...? Oh it's a fromsoft game? They have a weird storytelling style right?" *Zone of the Enders* Subaru(reading chat): "You better play ZoE! (yes, this is a threat)" -Subaru: "lol...yeah maybe." (!) -She didn't like getting an invitation to the Apex Predators after what they did to BT, felt like Cooper wouldn't have liked it either. -"Make Titanfall 3, just make it!" -"I get that Apex is cool, but don't forget about BT! Why aren't they making Titanfall 3?! " Chat: "because 2 didn't sell well." -"Why?! Go buy the game! It's like, $5 bucks!" -When BT objected to getting a new Pilot she thought it was extremely adorable. "Now _that_ was moe." -She thought it was really nice how BT went from calling Cooper: "Pilot" to "Cooper" to eventually "Jack" -"I think I'm good with FPS's as long as it's not against real people." -She thought BT went past his "programming" when he said the "I will not lose another pilot" line. -She forgot about her pie and it got cold..."I will not lose another pie" -She got a SC from someone roleplaying as Valkyrie and thanking her for showing her how her father fought and what a hero he was to her, also complimenting her for having a name befitting of "conquering the skies" (Oozora). "Huh...I still won't play Apex though!" -"Huh? That's Viper's daughter? Oy! Your dad was stupid strong! What's up with that?!" -Chat mentioned the PvE mode "Frontier Defense" but she felt like she would need to be carried and didn't want to be a burden to a team. -"I'm too scared of MP, I'd rather play solo...Wait...Am I Kirito?!" -Recommended that anyone that liked BT go watch Netflix's 'Lost in Space' right away! -"If we ever get actual robots with AI, would you buy one? I'd buy one." -Chat: "Right before BT self-destructs, there's a message on Cooper's helmet that says "Uploading..." Subaru: "Eeeeh?!! No way, I'll need to rewatch that!" -"Man! Why won't you make Titanfall 3?! This is so good!" -"BT's speech pattern was always very human-like, which made it really hard to tell how much of what he was saying was part of his programming..." -"Halo? It's got superweapons, an AI partner...huh, that sounds interesting. What's it called again? 'Halo'?" -"What?! That knife and pistol were left there by Lastimosa?! Uwah, that's a gut-punch - I'm gonna throw up..." -Chat:"BT actually stands for 'Best Titan'" Subaru: "Aah, I see. They actually said what it stood for at some point didn't they? I like 'Best Titan' though." -"Ah, it was Bravo-Tango? That's really cute actually!" -SC: "I'm actually watching your stream from a Four Seasons in Las Vegas while on a slot machine!" Subaru: "Huh? What kind of life do you have?! That's crazy!" -Between her and Okayu they've seen the Kimetsu no Yaiba movie a combined total of 10 times at the theather. (Okayu=6, Subaru=4) -"Should I play ZoE? Should I play ZoE next?......Let's see...KONAMI?! It should be fine...right? And it's only 6 hours long!" -"Daemon X Machina? What is that? Oh, it looks cool! You guys are way too good at finding really interesting games for me! Should I just drop RUST?! lol This channel is going to become a robot-game exclusive channel at this rate! Too many games not enough time!!" -"I had a dream about Titanfall the day after I played it: So I was forced to take part in some sort of death-game and there was no food, but for some reason I had some shredded veggies in my hand? I ended up giving those to a mother and her children, and before we knew it we were thrown into a battlefield so we started running away! So the kids were running and I go "I'll go ahead that way, follow me!" so I dash away but then I realize I have something around my neck, and I seem to have triggered some sort of trap which then cuts my neck clean off! And then I go "Oh, I died." I remember thinking "Oh this hurts! This hurts!" and all my buddies were like "Are you ok?!" but there was no blood or anything so I replied "Yeah no, I'm fine, I think I'll live." I think I said something like "It's fine! This happens all the time!" and then I woke up...lol."

"Enough Apex already, give me Titanfall 3!" Truer words have never been spoken Subaru...

The bond between a duck and her robot is one of the strongest I've ever seen, and one of the most beautiful ones I've experienced

Man, I thought hearing BT’s final “Trust me” in English would do me in. But hearing Badass Japanese BT saying “Shinjite” brought me to actual fuckin tears. Then hearing Shuba say “He said to trust him” followed by sniffling after, just hit me right in the feels. What an amazing game!

Oh this poor soul knowing we won't get Titanfall 3, it's like that kid who finished Half Life 2 and wondered when's the next game and got sad because there won't be any. God bless her and cheers to you mate for translating this whole experience for everyone

Oh my goodness, this was such a fantastic ending to a fantastic series. I absolutely adored watching Subaru complete this masterpiece of a game, and having her immediately voice what most Titanfall 2 players say ("Give us Titanfall 3") was priceless. Your editing of the whole campaign was beautifully done and I will be waiting to see what you do next.

It is at these kinds of games that you'd understand why Subaru is "Best Girl's Best Girl". She understands the "romance" of these things that seem to be aimed more towards the male audience. A lady with the heart of a tomboy, Yagoo sure knows how to find the sun.

Shuba's brief disgust at seeing the titan not being BT is really funny.

She went through all the emotions in one night that a Titanfall fan has been feeling for years. From the ups and downs of the campaign to the excitement and dissapointment of wanting a sequel

Man what a ride! Titanfall 2 definitely has one of those short but well written stories that makes you attached to the characters. It went exactly as I thought it would. Her reaction to Respawn never making Titanfall 3 is exactly how I felt after finally playing Half Life 2 Episode 2 a few years ago; *"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ISN'T A SEQUEL!?"* followed by everyone in the fanbase sadly nodding in understanding.

I love how Subaru hopped between feeling pain from losing BT (we all do) and wondering why the smart pistol is so op.

There's so many things that I want to say, but I know that I can't say them all, or I'd be writing this comment for hours. I've played through this campaign so many times I've lost count. I've known how this ends for years, so I knew I wouldn't cry. When you made that montage at the end, though? I cried. This game has always been a masterpiece in my eyes. A perfect title in almost every single way. The gameplay, the story, the characters, the writing, the lore and everything in between. Getting to see Subaru play it with all the added flavour of the fun little edits was an absolute joy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for this series. Pray for 3.

We all made to the end(by all, I mean Subaru who played the game a month ago, VtuberBits who translated and edited the videos, and every one of us who watched and were at the beginning until the end). Even Subaru knows how op the Smart Pistol is. The same could not be said for Titanfall 1 multiplayer

"Is that Apex? No thanks! I said I'm not playing it!" LOL I didn't even think about how that part might feel now that Apex Legends is a thing. I liked the little thumbnail edits in these last few episodes and I loved the montage at the end! Seriously, the whole editing is just insanely good! Massive props for subbing both the commentary AND the game AND formatting game subs to look like actual in-game subs AND going the extra mile to edit the glitching BT UI at the end there. All of it is edited so well that most of the time you just forget it's even an edit and not just in-game footage.

Such a great playthrough even if it's a tough one at the end. Her playthrough do remind me a lot of Ina's playthrough, which was also in one sitting and full of emotions. Great stuff and glad she had fun. Thank you for the clips, very much appreciated.

I don't know how many times i have seen the ending, it got me everytime. But this time we got Subaru reaction too and it's precious. And I can't agree more to Titanfall 3. Thanks for the clip, cheers.

Even though ive played the campaign who knows how many times, it breaks my heart to see the final moments with our big robo friend. “Trust me.” I still get choked up. Bravo, Respawn. This is a masterpiece.

it took me playing through a second time to remember. during the time jumping mission BT tells you he downloaded part of his AI consciousness into your helmet.

Thank you for clipping the climatic ending to an amzing saga. I love how Subaru got really attached to BT over time (like the rest of us), and her reactions to pretty much everything are beautiful and over the top. Good work also adding subs to the cutscenes and even on the decryption effects on the last part, truly beautiful work there. Now Subaru can join us on the "Give us Titanfall 3 already" camp.

Thank you very much for editing this whole heartwarming adventure for us, non jp-speaking people so we can watch our Duck experience the same we all been through playing Titanfall. For me, i barely watched any clips of Subaru but after that im going to check more of her. "Why did they get rid of titans in Apex?" YES, EXACTLY! That's how every titanfall fan felt when Apex dropped. Respawn you made a successful BR, but imagine how big your game would've been if found a way to include titans!

Top notch editing, and perfectly sums up the Subaru's titanfall 2 experience! Not many clippers can do this kind of thing, color me impressed. You deadass manually tracked the 3 Protocols of the titan as well as the glitched animations. that's VERY impressive!! I'll leave the OG videos a like as well! I'd like to go and watch their streams but oftemtimes my JP is very undertrained that I get frustrated when they talk about things and I can't quite figure out what they are talking about.. thats why these kinds of clips are a godsend for me as well!

I start watching yesterday, really didn't want to comment on the videos because I'm a bit late seeing all of this, so was saving the last one to do so. I enjoy every second of all of them, I really have a blast here, is a shame that we will never get a Titanfall 3, it reminds me to Vanquish, another amazing game that sadly also didn't get the recongnition it deserved. And lastly really thanks for the translation, you did an awesome work!
