ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

"Detective Rosa Diaz has left." I know everyone focuses on Jake or Amy, but my favorite Holt relationship is the one he had with Rosa. It was low-key compared to Amy/Jake's overt neediness, but they were really there for each other and helped each other grow.

Both Kevin and Holt were wrong about the Monty Hall problem. Probability doesn’t lock in. You receive additional information based on the opening door. It creates a scenario with 6 possibilities, 4 of which would lead you to switch doors.

Seeing Captain Dad laughing at Kevin's joke is so heartwarming! Because we start the show with them afraid of rejection and mockery from the squad, but we go with them in a journey of welcoming, acceptance, and embrace with the found family that the squad becomes and it truly speaks volumes to people who face the same problems in their communities.

My heart aches at the loss of Andre B. He was a fantastic actor, my all time favourite. And Raymond Holt is a tie for my all time favourite tv character…tied with Andy Sipowicz. I’m so sad to know there will be no more of that gorgeous voice, that striking smile, his massive talent…RIP❤️‍🩹

8:33 From how I understand the Monty Hall problem since you're more likely to pick an empty door on your first pick (2/3 of the time your first pick will be an empty door), and the host must reveal an empty door, the door you did not pick will have the car and you should switch. It should be noted switching isn't foolproof since 1/3 of the time you will get your first pick right, but statistically speaking the first scenario is more likely

My favorite part of the Monty Hall problem is that the actual answer is: It doesn't matter. Switching or not switching doesn't change your odds. And that's the solution to Holt and Kevin's issue as well

I love the parallels between their original wedding and their renewals. At their wedding, Holt is so impatient that he interrupts the officiant and in the renewals, Kevin is the one who is impatient.
