Memorial Day is actually to honor and mourn U.S. military personnel who died during their service, and Veteran’s day is for veterans of U.S. military, but there is nothing wrong with thanking the men and women of the U.S. military anytime!

IDF stands for Israel Defense Forces, their job is to defend Israel, not Palestinians. If IDF has to stop firing everytime there are civilians, which by the way already being told to leave the area but they chose to stay or maybe forced to stay by Hamas, then might as well disband IDF, because Hamas will always use their civilians as shields. If their own government want them dead, then it's none of Israel's business. Palestinians are the responsibilities of Palestinian government, not Israel.

Chuck- my dad was a retired MSGT and we couldn't afford the meal plan when I went to college. He gave me boxes and boxes of MREs so I wouldn't starve. And I didn't! And I was thrilled to have the MREs. But bless the Palestinians. That's just not tasty enough for them.

Correction: The camp in which the airstrike took place, also known as block 2371, was indeed a designated safe zone according to the Israeli Defense Forces about four days prior. Whether or not the civilians living in the refugee camp were warned prior to the airstrike is uncertain. Interestingly enough, it wasn't until after the aftermath of the airstrike that the Israeli Defense Forces came out and said that it wasn't a designated safe zone.

@@kevinmandujano3444 like I said -Wrong. What they 'literally did' is specify the boundaries of the safe zone. So this block is on the outside limit of the safe zone. As the map they also provide clearly shows. u have the wrong zone anyway. it was 2372

Never forget the USS Vincennes shooting down passenger flight Iran Air 655 a scheduled passenger. Never forget the shooting down of a British aircraft in the 1991 Gulf War by a U.S. Patriot battery. Never forget the Tarnak Farm incident, when the U.S. dropped a bomb on Canadian infantry killing four Canadian soldiers were killed and eight others injured. Never forget the death of Pat Tillman in Afghanistan. The USS Liberty was 57 years ago when technology was not as advanced.

Like you have said 500 trucks are coming in a day and a lot rotting or sold. Then we add more waste in financial numbers that are hard to wrap around. This is only one of many wastes of US tax payers money. And it is not even in money that’s there. It’s borrowed adding to deficit with huge interest. Sickening.

Israel receives about 15 billion a year in United States government aid. No strings attached. No audit as to where that money goes when it gets to Israel. We've been funding the IDF for decades. By the way, did you know that every Israeli citizen gets free healthcare? We pay for that too.

What do you want Israel to do? If they paid for their own weapons, then they might not have enough left over to give every citizen guaranteed healthcare. I mean, if they lost that, then they might end up with the overpriced health care like in the US.
