Psalms 27:1-14
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.
3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
4 One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord.
7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me.
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior.
10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.
11 Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors.
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, spouting malicious accusations.
13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Just a friendly reminder: Bishop Engenas said to his congregation we should respect other churches, He actually said we should respect all churches. There were no terms and conditions(This means you respect regardless of whether they respect your church or not, you still respect their church even if they call your church names) When they say the Holy church of ST ENGENAS is of peace and love, they mean it.It was build with peace and it will be maintained through peace and love. If some of us lack peace and love we are lost.May the God of SAINT ENGENAS help us to have peace and love at all times, and to have respect for all churches on this earth. I just think your friendly reminders is out of context what is it that your reminder is to do with funeral, i mean here people are in agony, confused, scared, they lost their love once tradigically, in the process of burial. So we don't undertand where is respect of the church come from?

I hear you but we must not forget that Jesus Christ came and he did it all for us. His blood always purifies us! The holy spirit is our adviser, the same holy spirit operates in USA it operates in Africa only that we grow in the demesion of the spirit. don't forget human beings are full of tricks, in fact they are otherwise! People are otherwise!

@@muzimichael4394 yes exactly but leveticus 21 is the rules for all high priest from the Lord himself that no high priest should make himself unclean by not attending funerals but they can only attend their families only so he follows the rules of God no matter what happens they must not attend funerals from outside their families that's the rule from God not me or someone from God

This is long topic, just to mention few....that was under the law of Moses! Were Levites were seperated from others to live a holy lives. We now live in the law of Christ were everyone can live a holy life. Under the law of Moses God's people were divided into two groups namely the priests and believers. Under Christ believers are part of kingdom of priests, Peter described it as royal prietshood. Jesus Christ is the high priest who came from the tribe of Judah not Levites, His status as a High Priest is an indication of divine change, now since all christians are priests they are only called to be different from the world. We no longer have sacrifice calves, birds, goats for purification of our sins yearly, we have the right to entire the holy of hollies through the blood of christ and comminicate with the Holy Father the creator of heaven and earth.

Coz that law was from lord the God the creator churst himself so what are you saying we still follow the law of Moses and when you say we are no longer following that law it means we can commit adultery of murder people? Is that what you say please I pray that you Dont fool people around with this information you have you only mention birds and whatever but you don't mention murder and aldutery according to you we can now murder please son of God don't do that lord didn't change anything and please tell me where can I find law of christ which verse in the Bible talks about the new law we should follow no one can change law of moses so Dr engenas lekganyane is the high priest not just a priest he is a high priest and he sent the priest to attend the funeral so himself man of God he can't attend funerals but only family
