and they were well-educated in Metal music. Most "metal" nowadays are nonsense blast beats and noteless fucking scream. Must know fundamentals first!!!
@published6907 a young bird, especially one newly hatched. "the cattle egrets hatched and reared two chicks" a newly hatched domestic fowl. "dozens of fluffy, chirruping chicks hatched out" 2. informal a young woman. "she's a great-looking chick"
The Gods of Metal looked upon the Earth, and said "you have been forsaken, therefore, I shall redeem thy ears with what thee has been deprived"....and so it was done.
I'm a 57 year old rocker/metal. These young people have so much talent. Not just singing, playing but they have real stage presence. Thanks for a blast from the past.
Oh he's definitely smiling on these kids . I've heard a lot of covers of this ,but this is easily the best . I'd love to see them do some Hale and Palaye Royale .
Yes they are great almost sounds better than R J D but maybe that just the sexy lead vocalists voice washing cobwebs from my brain..in she 70s this group would have given the classic rockers a run for the money
I swear she is channeling Dio...what a great voice and a great cover all the way around...so much to unpack here...but all amazingly talented...what a joy this was...thank you!
Just discovering you all. The moment the vocals hit my jaw just dropped, turned into a huge ass grin and tears formed in my eyes. Ronnie isn't with us anymore, but his legacy.... Shit man, it's very much alive.
The 43rd time I've watched this, and MY GOD her voice is STUPID GOOD. I can't get over how much depth, nuance, colour, and passion there is in her voice! Vocally, this is THE best cover they've done.
While this is great, (it *really* is!) I like their cover of "Last in Line" even better! (I don't know how many times I've watched this, but I just noticed her drumsticks look like magic wands!)
I’m a metal head or as we used to say a HEAD from the 80’s. Y’all did pretty bad ass, The Black Priest would be proud of y’all. Rest in peace RJD, METAL NEVER DIES🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
The guitarist fits the bill of a 80's rock god. As a guitarist myself trying to keep the old shit alive, I tip my hat to this family full of talented musicians.
@@stevenkuznicki4949 I didn't discount the vocals but honestly that guitarist is something next level. He has a unique tone and flawless delivery. The drummers timing and clarity are also really above average. The vocals are something of a gimmick and on other songs she does fall flat a bit
В России тоже знают гениальность Рони Дио,земля ему будет пухом,но то,что сделали ВЫ ,заслуживает уважения.Снимаю шляпу,восхищаюсь вокалом, молодцы!!¡!
One of my favorite memories is when I song this in the front row on Dio concert (2003), and Ronnie looked at me and showed his signature moves🤘and 👍. RIP
It is great if you like something that sounds like a total carbon copy. This is too close to a total carbon copy of Dio's original in everything. The vocals, the drumming and guitar playing match everything that the original song does which to me isn't too impressive. I like bands that make a cover sound like something that they would do as one of their originals. I will give you 2 examples of musicians that make a song sound like one of their own. The first is Within Temptation and the second is Samantha Fish with them both doing a Black Sabbath song. Within Temptation is a symphonic metal band and they made a Black Sabbath song with this symphonic metal sound. For example ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-35xz_OSx9Ws.html
Samantha Fish does an original take on a Black Sabbath song making it more bluesy with her vocals and guitar playing. With her picking hand she uses a combination of the guitar pick and finger picking which is different than Tony Iommi's playing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--M-VxlRBbcc.html
@@matthall8632 what the hell are you talking about that I have no clue what I am talking about? From reading my comment again all I said was I like it much more when bands and musicians take a song and make it one of their own and Within Temptation did this perfectly. You must be one of these people that just hate this symphonic metal style and also one of these people that likes these cover bands that play a cover song exactly like the original. That for me is boring as hell and if I am going to listen to a song played exactly like the original than I prefer to hear the song done by the original band. I take it that you feel that my other Black Sabbath example by Samantha Fish wasn't all that great either. I think she blew it out of the water but you say that I don't know what I am talking about so to you it sucks but these cover bands that copy bands note for note are the best, lol! Well ok than go enjoy unoriginallity since you love this stuff.
@@jasminehulsey5566 1, absolutely, and 2 - there is someone else in the world with my last name????? Holy shit! I though there were only like 5 of us!!!
@@jasminehulsey5566 I've been playing guitar since I was 13. Best of luck to you and your sister. Learning guitar will sometimes seems complicated, and random. Just keep on playing. Don't let it intimidate you or discourage you. The best part is, you don't have to be perfect, just find your own sound and be amazing at it.
I'm 48 I haven't been blown away by anybody b4 or since E-40 he's special .until I seen her omg he gave her that gift that comes out of that mouth and it's be on that every thing is like an old soul who's been doing this for eons a life time in case u don't know the other word ,I'm blown the f* away .She's that shit!!!!! She's mega talented there's not a good enough word or statement I can form out of my 2 lips E-40 is the only one in .ymlife time I've seen this much beyond d words talent it's a straight ip gift .now the other family members ,are mega solid her 1St and foremost, made tears well up in my eyes and that feeling in your chest b4 tears well up in your eyes ,her mom must be so freaking proud go mom as well an dad ,the other kids are nothing to shake a stick at an the sister on drums that kind of talent from a female drummer sorry but is Un heard of tell right now cause I was finally lucky enough to find them, the brother on his solo when he had long hair reminds me of that virtuoso malsteem from 80s he hD the rare gift as well the other kids can play the he'll out of those I students try are so professional thier all seem to be old souls. Dang mom n dad did an excellent job ,talented and you can just tell trier good freaking kids .GOD BLESS EVERY ENDEAVOR YOU ALL DESERVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OhmyfkngGod!!!! I'm a 56yr old guitar player and Metal is my genre,,, I've played a ton of gigs and seen hundreds of shows, INCLUDING Ronnie James Dio (3 times) and this act just moved me to actual TEARS! A-FREAKIN-MAZING!! WOW!!! I'm now the newest Liliac Maniac!!!!
Heck yeah, I'm 51 and I just found my new obsession! My guy is a lead guitar player and he said holy s#it. Who is that? Much respect going out to them!
This vocalist is so swaggy lol. She could front any major band. Voice crazy, energy crazy. Totally has that extra 20% a good musician needs to be a real fucking legend
And she can rock the bass guitar as well! I love some of the older videos with her on bass like the Trooper by Iron Maiden. And the younger brother throwing down the first half of the guitar solo on that one! Talent all around this family.
I sense great things from this band! I think Ronnie would be immensely proud to see kids like 30 years later still loving and respecting classic heavy metal 🤘
Whoever this guitarist is...VERY nice job on Viv's solo. I love the distortion channels too. Entire band is very talented. Thanks young Metal Soldiers for a job well done. 🤙
@@rockfish1000 all theater.. have a friend in houston met him at music store.. said he was awesome kind and yes he did believe in God... listen to his words.. they are warning not worshiping..
This band sounds Amazing and we Loved the growl and rasp of the singers voice! My hubby says that you gave Wendy from the Plasmatics vibes and I get some Janis Joplin/Grace Jones/Pretty Reckless vibes, for sure! Keep On Rockin' and getting your talents, out there for All to hear! We are Old Alternative/Punk/Rocker Grandparents (from way back), we have 3 kids and 5 grandkids. We Love to see Non-Cookie Cutter Amazing young talent, these days! Absolutely LOVED IT!🤘🎶🎵🎤🎸🥁😁🌟
I only wish Ronnie James dio could have been alive to see this, I am certain he would have done a collaboration with you 🤘, thank you for keeping his spirit alive 🤘🤘
BEST COVER OF THIS SONG EVER! Especially the vocals. But the guitars, the bass, the drums, the mixing, production, and hell even the visual components too. Everything about this makes me feel alive and 25 again. Thank you. God bless you.💜🙏☺👍
@Johnny Quest Thank you for the awesome response. Yeah, i'm now on my LILAC journey of discovery. They are awesomely badd ass! I never thought i'd find another, younger, band to really love as an old guy(51). But this band just puts me in a great place when I jam to them.☺👍
@Johnny Quest I know this reply is late brother but I love 2 things in youtube comment sections. Very long replies from badd asses like you brother that clearly knows their stuff. BTW: I'm sure you heard about Jeff Labar from Cinderella died yesterday at 58. Too young to check out, ya know. Brother, i'm heading to bed but I got mega respect for you. So listen, i'm not a weirdo creep. Not a ravenous drug addict(just natures buzz in moderation. Haven't drank in over a decade. Just an old metalhead. I'd love to correspond with you. Like a pen pal. Remember those? So, feel free to email me at heavyjoe01@gmail.com I'd love to shoot the shit. Swap stories, etc. We need more friends than enemies in this unrecognizable, messed up world. I look forward to hearing from you brother. God bless you and yours. 🙏💜☺👍
Thank you Liliac for not only paying tribute to the greatest era of metal and hard rock, but to absolutely doing it justice. For those of us about to rock, we salute you.
I been on the internet for years. I watch music every day. I've never subscribed to anything or anyone. It's just not my thing. Not even my greats like Vai, Satriani, Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray... I been following Liliac for a bit now. Seen all the vids. Guys are awesome. Proudly giving my very first subscribe and likes and whatever else i can do to these guys. Don't ever stop.
I am a 61 year old country piano player. I am loving this. Brings back memories when I was in a rock band. Keep it up y'all enjoying all of your songs.
I have never heard a vocalist, male or female, so accurately emulate so many different vocalists while also maintaining their own vocal character at the same time. this bad is going to go places.
I remember stumbling upon this video years ago, seeing the thumbnail with a bunch of children and thinking to myself: "How good could this be? They probably ruined it." And boy, was I surprised the hell out of me. I surely wasn't expecting these brilliant kids to nail it that hard.
Omg where has this performance of holy diver by Rio been my life woo hoo go guys rock and roll yeahhhh well done the lot of you and that guitar player and her voice dang right 👍
Stumbled on you all on TikTok. Those vocals and the guitar gives me chills dude. Chills. I'm an old Metal Head and I love a killer redo of a great classic. I found my actual favorite redo of Holy Diver officially. No disrespect to KSE but you all killed it far better than they did.
Never thought I would see a cover of Holy Diver that I liked better than the KSE rendition. Here it is regardless. That girl's vocal talent is incredibly special. I mean, Howard Jones has a phenomenal voice. He really does, but this girl, wow. She nailed this song like it was the fulfillment of a ten thousand year old prophecy . Is this even real ?!
Great job, I'm almost 60 and I've seen DIO live in the early 80's and beyond more than any other band I went to. I really miss Ronny rest in peace my Friend. At one of his concerts I held a smokin' hot girl on my shoulders for the whole concert 🤘🤘. Many great concerts and many fond memories 💯❤. Keep up the great work and maybe I'll see you in concert someday👍
I watched them in concert last night. Here in San Antonio Texas. Great freaking show! They rocked hard. If they run through again. I’ll be definitely attending.
Punk Rock tried to kill the metal But they failed, as they were smite to the ground New wave tried to kill the metal But they failed, as they were stricken down to the ground Grunge tried to kill the metal, hahahahaha They failed, as they were thrown to the ground
@@brotothewilliams9890 He had been singing and mastering his voice for quite alot of years more then her at that time. Also nobody said she was just as good as Dio.
Papa Liliac thank you so much for getting your family involved with music. It’s not often you feel such strong emotions when listening to a song. The voice the guitar solo and the groove couldn’t be better. You guys kick ass!!!
The singer has a once-in-a-decade golden voice. It is unmistakable. Like Eddie Van Halen behind a curtain, you can always tell who's jammin there. Rock on Melody!
That was awesome. Sounds epic. Great to see the younger generation keeping the music alive. Good luck in all you do. Thanks for keeping old school rock going n creating your own as well.
My husband showed me a video of a group of children playing on the pier in Southern California a few years back. They were amazing! Watching them grow and perfect their skills as musicians has been spectacular and amazing. Kudos to the parents for raising these young people and thank you for sharing their gifts. Blessed Be to you and I look forward to seeing you on the road
the band is great - Melody on lead vocals is mesmerizing......... a rare breed. one in a million.....her unique voice is smoky, scary, raspy, in tune, sexy, commanding, and mature beyond her years.......If she was a "stock", I'd buy a million shares................oh and a big thumbs up to their mother and father who raised these kids and helped produce the videos and write the songs.
