I've been in his workshop and played with some of his guitars and believe me, in person they are even more amazing, both the looks and the playability. All of his guitars have a unique sound and they can really hold a note, and if you like legato this is your instrument: every note is alive and clear.. the design and construction really is a big part of it. Great instruments and great demo! \m/
That is beyond beautiful. Perhaps if I looked at this show as only an art exhibit it wouldn't seem so ridiculous? But it is called a guitar show and it's posted on premier guitar so.....?
Absolutely STUNNING! Some of the most beautiful guitars I'v ever seen! I would love to play his guitars and see how they feel, and sound in person. Who knows, maybe someday I'll even own one if I ever have that much money -sigh- a girl can dream ;)
Really wish Tomas would have dug in or did a little riffing He played always very lightly Wanted to hear some pick attack and sustain Beautiful pieces of work Art really Best wishes for 2020 guy's
These are incredibly original and gorgeous guitars. Fantastic! One thing though - they aren't chemical free, since everthing is made of chemicals. A chemcal-free guitar would be a perfect vacuum. Still, super-cool guitars Adriano! Truly original designs.
Those fret markers at the 12th fret are not straight. The second guitar 12th fret markers look intentional. The first one looks like a mistake. The pickups are are amazing.....very dynamic.
Five weeks must be part time. I rarely use power tools to make things, but I'd imagine I could get that guitar down to a two-week process without using any power tools, perhaps with the exception of a router for the cavities for neatness. It doesn't even have a gloss finish. It's OK to be a slow workman, but a guitar like that is very simple compared to something like an F-hole mandolin.
+ DividedByTime $1000.00 per week is "not a great income" if indeed these guitars cost $5000.00 each and take five weeks to build? Well, excuse ME, to most people $1000.00/wk. *is* a "great income" maybe not great in the world of luthiers but a great income for most working stiffs nevertheless.
Yet another clip from this series with great looking guitars with bad sound/poor demonstration. If I was any of the luthiers I'd be pulling these clips and replacing them as they do no service to the instruments.
