The Cetaphil ‘REDNESS RELIEVING NIGHT MOISTURIZER’ is a very good product, my skin loves it. Other products I like are Cicaplast, Cicalfate and the Purito Centella Unscented Serum. Thanks for your reviews ❤

I just started using the Clinique moisture surge mask as a moisturizer and holy cow it’s amazing! My skin was sooo dry from over exfoliation and the dry patch I had is almost gone and it’s only been a week!

Hi Sarah I’m always needing soothing products (rosacea and eczema). I really like the KS Delikate line if you don’t mind spending a bit more (I usually find it on sale somewhere). I also like the dry skin eczema cream from that line used as a face moisturiser. The beauty of Josean ginseng cleansing oil is gentle yet effective and I also like the toner in that line as it’s hydrating. Ti’am vita B5 toner is super affordable and great for sensitive skin. I don’t like the reformulated cicaplast tbh, but the cicalfate from Avene is decent. Bioderma sensibio range is better than either Avene or LRP line for sensitive skin IMO. Jin jung sung essence and omega serum are still favourites. Stratia liquid gold caused a massive reaction so buyer beware on it. Paula’s choice calm line is really good- it’s a no fuss basic skincare regime for severely sensitive skin. Psa liquid panacea is nice for a change and a newer find. Best wishes x

Products that not only help my skin when it's irritated but also prevents it is... PC Skin Recovery Toner & Moisturizer, Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule, CeraVe Healing Ointment, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream and Avene Cicafate ( which I prefer over La Roche Posay ) Unfortunately the I'm From Rice Toner did the exact opposite. As soon as it touched my skin 🔥 instant burning sensation. But I absolutely LOVE the I'm From Rice Cream. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't. It's such a wonderful moisturizer. If it's too much for your face it makes a perfect eye and neck cream.

I received a tube of the Moisture Surge overnight mask free from Macy’s last fall. I thought I put it on my cheeks after I use my retinol. I also thought it might be a good idea to put on my forearms to help with age spots.

I know some people are put off by the smell but my latest discovery is the Numbuzin #3 glow toner. It's WONDERFUL on my mature dry skin living in cold, dry-ass Alaska! Wow! Between that toner and the Tirtir toner (Korean brand formulated specifically for dry skin, and fragrance free as well), my skin hasn't become chapped AT ALL!!! We spent the past two weeks at temps ranging from -33F to -8F and my skin has remained supple and hydrated throughout. Of course I'm not exactly spending oodles of time outdoors but you know as I do the havoc indoor heating can also wreak on our skin. For me, I have to layer products. And I layer a LOT of products....probably more than you. Why? Because there are too many great ingredients out there I want my skin to benefit from. At 56, my skin needs all the help it can get. I do not use facial devices or light therapy as I've remained skeptical of them and am not sure if I'd remember to use them consistently. I did buy the Qure microneedling system but have thus far been too chicken to use it! For Bakuchiol, I've been using the Avene retrinal serum. It's a nice texture and easily fits in with my routine. Not cheap, but I can afford it easily enough. The Cos Rx Snail mucin products are fairly recent additions. Snail mucin used to creep me out but I think I watched one too many of your videos promoting its wonderful benefits and I finally caved and bought the power essence and the cream. Glad I did as I won't be without it now! Especially in our Alaskan winters! I used to use Clinique products a few years ago. In fact for many years, Clinique represented the best of the best skincare in my mind (and wallet). Living here their products just were not enough. And I dislike their toners. Might as well break out the Sea Breeze again if I'm gonna go that route🤣 G&G's aPad serum is still a staple. Haven't actually had the nerve to try AA in its more active form as I dread the thought of my skin drying out, which is the same reason I haven't been able to bring myself to use retinal or retinol more frequently than once weekly. Afraid of my skin becoming dry, chapped, and painful. But I do use it about once a week. Glycolic acid products are good on my skin. I use facial cleansers with it (several brands), body washes (Naturium's....and I hate that I love their body washes dammit because susan yara bugs me), and several serums/masks. I don't use it every day though but my skin has brightened considerably since I added GA to my regimen. Sadly, because I have a condition predisposing me to blood clots (heterozygous), I will not use anything with tranexamic acid in the ingredient list. I also have both Reviv serums (the telomerase and growth factor) as well as peach and lily’s copper peptides. Several of my products contain peptides….finally got my hands on the cos rx peptide booster serum! My favorite gentle facial cleansers thus far are the G&G Jelly Joker, Stratia's Velvet Cleansing Milk, Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat cleanser, and Neutrogena's cleansing milk. I'd really like to find a Korean cleanser that feels like these do as I dislike foaming or overly lathering cleansers because they strip my skin. I sometimes use oil cleansers too (Avene, LRP, Uriage, & CeraVe). If I'm double cleansing it's only because I put on a bunch of sunscreen as I don't wear makeup. The Korean cleansing oils are all about equally effective at doing that. Stratia's lipid gold is nice. I use it in winter mostly on my décolletage. It's mildly greasy feeling so I can't use it in summer that much. So I basically use 4-7 layers of toner, several ampoules, even more serums, followed by gel creams (either Korean or French) and sealed in by something thicker and more occlusive (these can run the gamut from K beauty brands to luxury brands). Besides the ingredients I mentioned above, I’m also using multiple products filled with wonderfully soothing ingredients like centella and its derivatives, mugwort, licorice root, heartleaf, etc. I don't care if there is a slightly tacky feeling on my face at the end of it all because over time everything soaks in completely and it's a helluva lot better than feeling dry and chapped! Nobody takes me for 56. Almost everyone tells me I look to be in my early-mid 40s. Wish I had discovered all these wonderful products years ago. But the thing that saved me is that I've always hated the sun and stayed OUT of it. It hates me too! So no history of sun worship in my life and today my skin thanks me for it.

I have found the LaRochePosay Cica waaay overrated! I got the purito day ceramide and sleeping mask and I find them much better. I also got the CosRx ceramide which is super thick and perfect for under eyes and lips I LOVE geek&gorgeous’ Jelly Joker cleanser! It cleans my skin but doesn’t dry it out! And yes the balm removes makeup well! I also find their vit C the best I’ve ever tried (I do keep it in the fridge) and their retinol cream I find super gentle.

I dislike the LRP cica baume. It's chalky, doesn't spread easily, and sometimes irritates my skin (which is what it's NOT supposed to do lol). However, I LOVE the gel version. It works wonderfully on my skin, which is odd because I tend toward dry skin.

That’s funny about blue contacts.😂 Everything looks blue. I don’t like cold blue eyes. They aren’t always a cool blue but I would choose brown over blue.

I will say I think the cicaplast baume is extremely overrated. I mean with all the amazing cica creams out there, with EVERY aspect of the cica plant in some, not sure why people rave over this one. It made me break out, and the ingredients never impressed me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Same experience. I needed to use it for a few days after CO2 laser, also the version with spf, and it made me break out badly. That happened again with the second laser. Then I tried Cicalfate by Avene instead, and it was only slightly better.

I just bought the Nineless Azelaic Acid serum off YesStyle the other day and it’s in the mail! I’ve literally never seen anyone mention it so I’m glad to hear you love it! Have you by chance tried the BFFECT 13% Azelaic Acid off YesStyle? It appears more of a lotion consistency, more expensive ($30-$35 I think), Taiwan based company? Would love to know your thoughts if so! My main skin concern is pore congestion in the butterfly zone and my chin, mostly sebaceous filaments and blackheads. Secondary concerns are texture, PIH, and sebum control.
