I have the Tomavicci Zenobia, it is quute intense, heavy and long lasting , I would consider it more of a winter scent, also because of the smokey leather scent. Definitely not for hot and humid summer weather. On a cool summer night maybe ok but to me its still to heavy scented for cool summer nights.
I get zero pineapple from Lamar - it's a masculine fragrance trying to be feminine by throwing in some rose. I honestly don't get the attraction. I bought it twice to see if I just purchased one off. The pineapple search continues! Dolce Melodia is absolutely stunning! She's been my ride or die this summer.
I want to try Dolce Melodia but on the fence about it. What fragrance does it kind of remind you of? Just so I can get an idea before purchasing a sample.
@@FragranceswithGigi I'll preface this by saying I get a passionfruit vibe from the fruity aspect. I have said before it's like Hundred Silent Ways had a lovechild with Narco Oasis. I get the best of those two fragrances - in fact I sometimes add a sprtiz of Narco Oasis to combine the two. I am not a huge floral fragrance person but this is floral done right and it's not the star - the fruity aspect is the main character. I bought a sample on scentsplit and immediately purchased a full bottle of my first Sospiro. Hope that helps and you can get your nose it soon.
The color of your top is beautiful 😍 My summer holy grails-definitely Another 13 by Le Labo, it’s so special to me, it’s comforting and addicting at the same time! When I first got it, I had received some bad medical news about my baby brother, but later that day received GOOD news after he spent hours in the hospital 🙌🏼 so everytime I wear A13, I think of my baby brother making a beautiful recovery ❤️🩹 Also!!! This is why i love the likes of Kayali and Jo Malone, its not often i want to be beast mode nor do i want the scent to remain strong throughout the day. And with Jo Malone they do just different scents, their profiles are not common. I know mant dont like Jo😊

Right now for summer I seem to be enjoying my mango fragrances most - Ajayeb Dubai Portrait by Lattafa and Carioca Heart by Jusbox - plus Cirque du Soleil (successful blind buy, YES!) and loving Kayali's Capri in a Bottle (Lemon Sugar) and Maui in a Bottle (Sweet Banana). Wish Kayali would sell them in bigger bottles!

The leather is LEATHERING (could I make that font bigger for emphasis). I over-sprayed (8). WRONG move, I thought, and was hoping for more guava than leather. This, for me, will have to be worn in the cooler months with 2-3 sprays maximum. Anything more WILL choke you and others out. This is a BEAST... not lion, more like GODZILLA/King KONG. The guava is so minimalistic...

The moment you asked for our summer holy grails I instantly thought of Lamar! Funny, because I don't even own it, but I got a large decant a few weeks ago and I am going crazy over it! Even funnier: in 2022 when I first smelled it, I thought it was screechy and unrefined! That's why I always keep my decants/samples for a later date to test if I don't like them at first. Except when it is absolutely a scrubber 🧽. I also want to add Dolce Melodia, so mouth watering 😋.
I didn't like Lamar at all, it dries down super soapy on my skin for some reason and I find the pineapple to be dry rather than juicy, so it was a No. Buuuut, a couple months ago the sales person at the store put me up to a layering combo: Lamar + The Night by Frederick Malle... Perfection together. I just can't justify buying them just to layer but there you go.
Rocca smells like a fruity BR540 VIBES w/ caramel.... a bold but THIN caramel, perfectly fine for summer- great for summer... maybe year round, but is not too heavy at ALL for summer....and I do NOT care for TT musks anymore... this is NOT that at all. Not bold like that. Bold like BR540. Just want people who don't like TT like that... they may still love this. I do and I'm not a sticky frag fan in summer.... I don't even get THAT. Just a heads up!
