History - Holy Land opened in 1955 and is inspired by selected passages in the Bible. In 1984 it closed for renovations which never happened and the park fell into disrepair and in 2010 a murder happened at the site of the large cross. Holy Land reopened to the public again in 2014 during daylight hours.
