Holy See cautions U.S. bishops on denying communion: Last Week in the Church with John Allen Jr. 

Shame on the Vatican for trying to caution the U.S. Bishops on denying communion to people who do not practice our faith as handed down by Jesus Himself.. Praise these Bishops who are safe-guarding our most prized Treasure: the Holy Eucharist. We must stop mocking God!

The Eucharist is God's body and blood, so it must not be desecrated.

The bishops need to step up and start defending Church doctrine that is from our Lord Jesus Christ and stop pandering after the world's immorale values. In Jesus' name I pray.

The real question is: HOW MANY BISHOPS BELIEVE IN THE REAL PRESENCE?

This situation should not even be for discussion! Our Lady always asked for the faithful to approach Holy Communion only after we are free of mortal sins, or intension for penance soon after we have had communion. The President is an elected official- not an emperor, not deity, and mainly if he can go to prison, he is just like anyone else;except corrupt politicians do not go to prison. Who the bishops say a President is? Only Jesus asked this to His apostles- should the Bishops ask this to the people "who do you say a President is? They and us know the answer, thus they and us know the church teachings.

Canon 915 needs to be invoked, period! Discussion is the road to prevarication. Deny these people Holy Communion, end of story! Excommunicate them; better still! The Eucharist must be defended to the last! Oremus!

As Catholics we have renounce and confess our sins, mortal sins, to the Priest of Christ before you receive communion. For if you received communion in a state of mortal sins you are committing a more serious sin of sacrilege. CCC. MAY GOD BE GLORIFIED IN THE BLESSED SACRAMENT NOW AND FOREVER.🙏🙏🙏

Before Mass give church teaching. During Communion presume good conscience. Do not fight publicly During distribution it is the sign of unity!

The in fighting within the Church is not good. The big question: How do you maintain Unity ? The Bishops need to do pray this through very carefully. Should the priest allow each parishioner to search their own conscience before communion? Should the priest deny communion with full knowledge that a parishioner is not worthy to take communion? We are all sinners in reality. No one is exempt. Personally, I could not take communion in good conscience and support killing innocent human beings. Seems like the ball is in Biden’s court. Will Biden change his position on taking communion or change his position on abortion ?

I don’t believe that the US bishops are up to speed with the the supremacy of conscience nor with the teachings of Vat II. Firstly supremacy of personal conscience (well formed) demands that a person follow his/her conscience. This is a Church teaching. If anything the bishops should be advocating communion because we who are not “perfect” are most in need of the Eucharist. What we eat, the body and blood of Christ, we become - and more Christ-like in our journey to Him - for it is through Christ and with Christ and in Christ that we give praise and glory to the Father in unity with the Holy Spirit. The Bishops and the priests must have always in mind that the Church is a hospital . Their job is to teach and preach the teaching of the faith. God opens for us the closed door of paradise through Jesus Christ because of the sin. The Word was made flesh through Blessed Virgin Mary. God is with us through the Holy Eucharist. God so loves us that He sends His beloved Son, Jesus Christ to save and to free us from the slavery of sin. Sin is the causes of death of the human race. He instituted the Sacraments Himself in His only One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church for the salvation of souls of poor sinners to have an eternal life in heaven. There is hope if we follow and obey God's Will by living in the state of grace. Repentance from the heart, and to have a new life in God by hating sin. There is a loving God who have an open arms to forgive because of His love and mercy for us.
