The Hagen Renakers brought back so many memories! I remember as a kid, seeing them lined up in the window of the mom and pop hardware store and I would stare at them and admire them. I saved up my allowance to get a cocker spaniel one. It took a long time (it was $5 and my allowance was 50 cents a week). But I did it!

As someone who was a carrer nanny for many wonderful families (and a couple that were not so wonderful) I wish you and your nanny all the best. I have found that as I look back, I should have been more selective of who I worked for because it is a very difficult job and not enough people respect the position nannies are constantly put in. It is a juggling act to have authority over children and be respected and appreciated by the parents who are your boss. I ended my career of almost 40 years just last year with the absolute best family ever. I love the kids, the parents and even the grandparents! In fact, although I am concentrating on reselling now, I am going to "hang out" with the kids for a week next month while their parents go out of the country on a week long birthday trip. I hope you have found a wonderful fit for your family and that your nanny loves you guys as much as I love the families I was privileged to be a part of. ❤

Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you? They have oxidized frogs like you were looking at. They have so many pottery pieces that look old. So many things there are made to look old. I go there to get an idea of what they are selling, so I don't pick uo something at thrift stores thinking it's old. Nice score on the animals. ❤

After cleaning over 30 bakery boxes of grease pen marks, the very best thing I found that is safe gentle but works every time is Awesome Cleaner from Dollar Tree( well $1.25 lol) it cut right through it in a matter of a few seconds.... Love that cleaner.

I live in Carlisle Cumbria England and we have a wildlife centre, in the summer you can see the dragonflies hatch from the water, it takes 2 years for them to hatch. I love all the different colours

If I remember correctly, Hagen Renaker figures were sold at the Coach House Gifts at our local mall when I was a kid in the late 80's. They weren't expensive so I had quite a few.

I'm glad you didn't cut yourself with the broken glass, especially since it was near your foot. I collected miniatures in the 70's and 80's and they are all packed away but I know I have some Hagen Rennicker figures, but not gremlins. The wire dollhouse furniture is a good find, I know they were popular in the 80's.

I got excited about the Hagen Renaker figures too. I have a few. I used to have the monsters and kept them in my terrarium. They got broken unfortunately. I have been looking for replacements for years.

I would have had a heart attack if I found all those Hagen Renakers! They are near and dear to my heart. I grew up in Southern California and collected them (inspired by mother who had her own collection, including many of the big, beautiful Maureen Love horses). I have certain ones that I will keep forever, but I've also sold quite a few of them. They may be going up in price now, too, because HR in San Dimas closed down at the end of 2021 (a company in Tennessee licensed them and are still doing some production, but it's not the same thing). My son and I had the pleasure of getting a guided tour of the production facility from Sue Nikas back in the early 2000s. She was so kind to us, it was a real joy. Congratulations to you on what I consider an amazing score!

Check for a white prancing circus pony and a grey draft horse in harness in those Hagen Rennakers. I sold one of each of those for $100 per horse!!! Paid $1/each for mine at a yard sale.

Tim at over the 6:44 6:45 years is a great glass guy, he suggested purchasing Kovels' Dictionary of Marks: Pottery And Porcelain, 1650 to 1850 & Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks: 1850 to the Present they are great books super helpful

I saw one of those figures might be an Irish Setter. As you can see in my pic I had one. Hope you'll be listing it soon. Awesome finds on the figurines! You hit the jackpot! I have three Pyrex bowls that have mushrooms on them. I've had them for a long time. They don't go in the dishwasher!

HAGEN RENAKER!!! I'm soooo jealous! Those things were way underpriced. The staff had no idea what a treasure they are! I have a collection that i started in my teens. I especially like the small ones and have mine in a thimble box. I love them! 😊

I remember awhile back you posted a video about one of your greatest finds and it was like a green vase from a Chinese dynasty that was converted to a lamp and I was just watching princess diaries 2 and there was a vase lamp that looked very similar if I recall in the background at the 40min mark. When I saw it I knew I recognized it from somewhere

Those dollhouse items were big & clunky for children to play with. I don't think they were worth much for resale. Check out miniature dollhouse furniture and accessories made for adults to collect.
