You guys certainly show it as it is don't you! You are much braver men than I am! Keep the videos coming please, they are much better than the rubbish on telly guys!
I don't know why but I thought I had already subscribed to you but hadn't but have now. You seem to get your footage out a lot faster than John too. Just seen he's done another few which I am yet to watch. Great video as always and the banter is even better and that is a fair sized conger. Used to be good off the end there many years ago and I've seen some big rays caught there. Never really rated the breakwater that much myself but I used to fish it as you were at one time able to drive on there and fish out of the car as the Mrs wouldn't walk anywhere. Council stopped that though after the endless mess left there and the strong smell of pee. If it's conger that you are after then why not fish the Rocky Coast but in better conditions than that though. It's the area before the breakwater that leads up to the old breakwater quarry where they brought the rock from to build it. Have done a few competitions there and seen some double figure congers come from there in daylight hours so worth a Google. I've also mentioned to John more than once to try that mark by Amlwch breakwater for cod. A bit of black lug or rag and you have a 80% chance of a cod there even in the summer plus conger. I've given him the details on the mark anyway so best of luck on your next session and apologises for not subscribing right away. I'll try and catch up on what John has put out tomorrow, many thanks for video.
Go down to the next set of steps no snags there I had 3 rays there casting towards green light on the other side on the ferry Dock its probably the best peg on there all the best Paul from Staffordshire 🇬🇧👍👍👍
Yer just next steps down I all ways use to fish there and the next one down as well them 2 pegs are good but not fished it since you can not drive down to the pegs anymore used to fish's it Friday to Sunday then go back home best two pegs in my eyes had some really big fish from them pegs and be careful if it's windy because the waves come over the top and can wash you in all the best Paul from Staffordshire 🇬🇧 👍
When I was on holiday aged about 11 me dad took us fishing off the end there, carrying a f-tonne of gear, an old homemade 3/4” thick wood seat-box with a car seatbelt as the strap, thankfully on the way back we managed to bum a lift off an old train, not sure why a train was running but this was bout 40years ago mind
well done guys real fishing real weather have you tried just to the left of where you was ive personally had big fish just to the left last year i had 4 bull huss smallest was 6lb and to many congers to count and just the other week a 3lb bass and a 2 pound ling on the same double hooktrace and the tide doest pull to much when you fish just to the left of ya all the best for new years hopefully meet you guys at some point all the best tight lines
Well, a guy turned up and said that the left spot on the end was producing big dog fish and many other species, its over that sand gravel isn't it. The problem we had was the wind smashing us on that side, we had to take cover behind the light house. I've got to give that point a go
@@paul3155 that's what i was unsure about, had a quick read on the defra sight, think there some sort of bi law. That one was definitely of size, but it went back. Best bait around though 😭
