I think one of the best parts about Homalocephale is that both gates on the hatchery open, as they open for a big dinosaurs, but then this tiny, tiny boi runs out. I think it's really funny.
My headcanon is that every member of the species has a Napoleon complex, like a little dog that thinks he's a terrifying hellhound even though he barely weighs four pounds dripping wet.
BIS, since we have Dryosaurus and Homalocephale now, here’s an idea for your next park series: a JPOG recreation! Here’s the catch: - You can ONLY use the 25 base species from JPOG - You can only use skins that are reminiscent of JPOG skins, except where no such skin for a certain dinosaur exists; (i.e. Tundra or Wetland for the JP/// Tyrannosaurus, Alpine(?) for the Velociraptor, etc.) - You cannot have curved fences or slanted buildings, etc. (JPOG couldn’t let you do it, so you can’t here either) - You cannot use the new scenery trees and rocks, nor the sand/rock/dirt/shale terrain textures - You can only use buildings/amenities that JPOG had or similar thematic variations (i.e. no monorail or Gyrosphere, but you can use Jurassic Tours in lieu of a Safari Ride; Viewing Vents and Platforms are completely fine, but you cannot mount the Platforms onto the fences) Like this comment so BIS can see!
Already planning on it! Don't think I'll limit myself quuuuite that much, but I'll be sticking to the 25 and probably rectangular/square exhibits at least.

I disagree with your requirement NOT to have any boulders and rock textures in his park, considering that JPOG did allow you to add mountains as one terrain tool, which the JWE boulders and rock paintbrush are pretty much the equivalent of.
Yes, but as we already have a mountain/valley tool, I felt that using actual rocks and textures would detract from the 1:1 recreation (or as close to 1:1).
You know. With Homalo being so small. Maybe it’s more possible we get Compies eventually now. Also that large Carnivore kill animation reminds me so much of JPOG. Especially the way they bring their head up and take multiple attempts to swallow it whole. All of it’s kill animations are cool in general. Especially the medium Carnivore one.
As far as I can tell in JWE Allosaurus is counted as a medium carnivore. He's the largest carnivore that Iguanodon can still fight off while the true large carnivores all just kill the Iguanodon outright.

It's really worth to mention the HIGH QUALITY of the model itself, it's texture, the animations and it's sounds. They really made a difference with this one. Stands out from the rest.

It’s because the Allosaurus has the medium carnivore animation... Albertosaurus shares all animations with Allosaurus And maybe you should try the Giga?
I mean If Troodon can kill herrerasaurus then why not? Idk, for someone that does battle videos a lot it’s kinda disappointing especially after the pachycephalosaurid combat system being added
I agree, that and the dryo. He put it up against a mono, who the dryo is the same size as. You telling me it wouldn't at least have a small chance against that thing?
I do agree, it is soo adorable, i think one of my new favourites now. The default and the rainforest colours are definitely the best I think as well. The jungle pattern looks like it has a bad sunburn
this guy gives me hope for seeing Microceratus (formerly microceratops) in the game. it was on the original INGEN list. also, the construction noise sounds like some big tanky hybrid trying to break out of its paddock.
I see Compy and Microceratus making it in thanks to Homalo, but I doubt they'll put flying/gliding dinos since they don't want to put pterosaurs. Psittacosaurus could be the third member of the tiny pack.

Homalocephale, a cute little critter with a flattop head and it's the smallest member of the pachycephalosaurid family. Homalocephale was a pachycephalosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period of what is now Mongolia, 80 million years ago. The genus was described in 1974 by Halszka Osmólska & Teresa Maryańska, and consists of a single species, H. calathocercos, though this may be a synonym (and juvenile form) of Prenocephale. Homalocephale was 1.8 metres (6 ft) long and herbivorous. Its name means "even head" and was noted for its wide hips and flat skull. Description: Unlike other definitely adult pachycephalosaurs (though similar to probable juvenile specimens referred to Dracorex and Goyocephale), Homalocephale sported a flat, wedge-shaped skull roof. Nonetheless, the surface of the skull was fairly thickened. The species is also noted for having an unusually broad pelvis, which lead some paleontologists to suggest that the wide hips were for giving birth to live young. Others have suggested that the width served to protect vital organs from harm during flank-butting. Homalocephale also had rather long legs, indicating a fast-moving gait. The type species, H. calathocercos, was described from an incomplete skull and postcranial material. The specimen has large openings on the top of the skull, a distinct frontoparietal suture, low and long infratemporal fenestrae, and a large, round eye socket. The forehead is notably rough, with multiple nodules on the lateral and posterior sides of the squamosal bone. Palaeontologists concluded that the specimen was an adult, despite the fact that the sutures are discernible and that it had a flat skull (a juvenile trait in many pachycephalosaurid species). In 2010, a study by Nick Longrich and colleagues suggested that flat-headed pachycephalosaurs were just juvenile forms of dome-headed adults, a view also supported by the earlier analysis of Horner and Goodwin in 2009. Longrich and colleagues suggested that Homalocephale is actually the juvenile or sub-adult stage of Prenocephale. The head of Prenocephale was comparable to that of Stegoceras, albeit with closed supratemporal fenestrae. Also, the paired grooves above the supraorbitals/prefrontals (along with a posterior parietal that restricts the frontal dome) are absent in Prenocephale. This differentiates the species from Stegoceras, as such features are common in the latter. The North American Sphaerotholus was considered a synonym of Prenocephale by Sullivan (2003), but Longrich et al. (2010) and Schott and Evans (2016) kept it as a distinct genus based on cladistic analysis. Homalocephale has been viewed as a possible juvenile of Prenocephale due to the lack of a dome and its discovery in the same location and chronological interval, but new specimens of Prenocephale, including a juvenile specimen, suggest that Homalocephale, even if its holotype is a juvenile, is distinct. Some fences lower than the light steel would be neat. Or a new "petting zoo" building that has a built in paddock where you can put small dinosaurs in. So many ideas!
Now I really really really want Compies! Especially since I always name one of my rangers "Dieter". Imagine him surviving only to have to feed them later in the rebuild park! xD
the rainforest skin kinda looks like the JPOG homalocephale. the body patter has the same two-tone as the tundra (?) skin but it's blue, wonder how much the devs were inspired by it
Compy is a bit of a stretch, Compsognathus is about the size of a chicken while Homalo is actually larger than a cat. Plus the Troodon has already taken up much of it's characteristics like it's sound, I feel like if they do decide to go with compy in a later update, they'd have to make is slightly bigger and change a lot of the Troodon
The thing with Compsognathus is, that it would need to be very, very small, not just a bit smaller, if you look at the human size ingame - i know, that sizes aren't exactly accurate on every single dinosaur in the Jurassic World universe, but in this case he's already in the movies in this really small size, so i guess they would at least try to match these.
My favorite patterns overall are the Steppe, Vivid, Rainforest and Wetland. Unfortunately only have the free Dinos. My number one favorite in the game is the Huayangosaurus with the Steppe pattern.
Heterodontosaurus, Protoceratops and Psittacosaurus would be perfect small herbivores to add to the game. Not only do they look different to all the other dinosaurs, they are all capable of defending themselves like mini-Iguanodons!

Im pretty sure allosaurus is a medium dino cuz in nearly every unique kill with lets say homalocephale, nigersaurus, hadrosaurs and iguanodon, it is always classed as doing the medium carnivore unique kill animation
Imagine getting a small enclosure making it so the population limit doesn’t exists and putting as many as them can fit. Also I’m still hoping that in a future update they make it so sauropods can just stomp on small carnivores or at least fight back.
