HOME ALONE and this is my FIRST FULL WATCH of it.

Yes, his whole family were jerks. His parents were negligent, his siblings were bullies or talked down to him, and his uncle called him a little jerk. I always felt like they treated Kevin like CRAP. Also, Kevin was the baby in that family. How do you not know your 8 yr old is not with you?! I love this movie, it's one of my faves. But I hated his family lol.

Yes you might have to rewatch home alone 3. Yes it was a toy car because they hid a secret chip inside the car. And Alex does everything to protect his home and to stop them.

The picture of "Buzz's Girlfriend" is actually just one of the producers' sons in a wig. They decided casting an actual child actress just to make a joke about how ugly she was was too mean.

The second movie is alot better, and his traps are so much funnier and violent. If you ask me, there are only 2 Home Alone movies, I have never seen the others and I never will 🙂

Enjoyed your reaction as usual. I like all of the first 3 Home Alone movies; they all have their pluses and minuses. With the first two, I always skip the very beginnings with the family treating Kevin like crap; I just don't like the stress. After watching the first 3 so many times now, I kind of prefer Home Alone 3. I find it a more interesting plot, and some of the spying and house defense of Alex is pretty cool. I'd definitely suggest watching (or rewatching) #2 and #3, even if you can't decide on a 'best' one. Wise words at the end from you, my friend. Well said.

I know a lot of people hate on it but personally i like the third movie even though it had a different actor. Btw Dillon, do you think you'll ever watch/react to the movie Knives Out? It's incredible and i think you'll like it, a sequel of sorts just came out on Netflix

I am not sure how many Home Alone movies there are but 1 and 2 are the only ones worth watching. I saw two of the others at my sister in laws house last year, they sucked.

Kids have many hardships these days, but also kids are more spoiled brats and self entitled too. Our grandparent had to deal with the Great Depression, and then enlist to fight in World War II. Kids these days are complaining about pronouns. Like even we’re not that sensitive. Going to HS in Chicago in the early 2000s; there were no safe spaces, people harassed us just for simply being alive, it sucked and we just had to deal with it.

If you think that the traps in this movie are ferocious, just wait til you see Home Alone 2.

Nahhh Home Alone 3 is no where close to EPICNESS OF THE ORIGINAL HOME ALONE. It doesn’t even compare or HOME ALONE 2 either. Macaulay Culkin is in a whole other level, he had the sass and soft moments too. The new kid in Home Alone 3 was okay, but I just was so uninterested in the movie. Also, the original family and bad guys are definitely better that the 3rd movie.

The traps in Home Alone 1, are mortal, brain damage, and soo much more

Ive found as I watch old movies each decade had its own trends, morals, social norms, trends. Technology that we have moved on from. Behavior we don't see as acceptable now that was acceptable back then plot points that once a hit get copied and in some cases morals that were true then that are still true today and things wrong with the world that have not changed in over 30 years. Home Alone represents 2 trends of the era. 1. Families who didn't get along 2. Kids setting traps to cartoonishly harm adults Its also one of many movies along with A Christmas Story, Hoock, Jingle All the Way, Its a Wonderful Life, where reactors who live out side of the U.S. who were born after the 90s find what people do in the films odd.

They all suck after 2. They don't feel the same. If you think about it, this could be a horror movie. 2 adult men trying to rob and murder a neglected child . Also, Harry and Marv would be dead from Kevin's traps.

2 is even better!

My mom thought she lost me in a toy store once. I was looking at some toys on the bottom shelf and was crouching down. Next thing I know my mom is grabbing me in hysterics asking me where I've been. But I never left the aisle. Turns out when I crouch I was hidden behind another display and didn't notice. Mom ran out of the store looking for me and when she came back I was standing up so she saw me. 😅

You should react to the 2nd movie! The sequel in my opinion is better since he's exploring New York City for the first time while meeting new and interesting people.

You should watch “12 Angry Men” (1957) and also the tv show “psych” if you have never seen either!
