Unless you're the main antagonist of a sequel. Then he's definitely going to lose to you, probably die to you in an awesome heroic way, but his defeat will set in motion a series of events that will ultimately set another younger and even more powerful character to be your undoing.
@lordfrieza3792 que in the scene where we're introduced to his student we knew nothing about, but that definitely existed throughout season 1's run. And then we get some flashbacks that prove he was also part of ensuring season 1's big bad was taken down. But was left out because "it wasn't important back then" or "just trust me bro".
I mean from the looks of it Kevin could have beaten either of them individually and was only on the back foot because he had to fight both of them at once..
1. Protagonist much younger than the villain. ✅️ 2. Can take one hell of a beating and still stand. ✅️ 3. Fight doesn't tell you where it's going.✅️ 4. Impractical, cool attacks and defenses. ✅️
The first home alone movie was as brutal as it could be. This trailer is more like the pov from the thieves. I mean, just look at the tall guy, he looks like he had a Glow up.
The only thing that was missing was the 10 minute inner monologue about how real strength comes from the power of family which ends with Kevin unleashing his untapped power.
When you anime something, you make bumbling oafs into the most intimidating and formidable opponents, and old people who turn out to secretly be badass af. Lovely, just magnificent ❤
I watched this with my siblings, we were all laughing and cheering. All of us were looking forward to the old guy showing up, and the ridiculously jacked old man trope did not disappoint! The animation was phenomenal, this is absolutely professional quality.
As a fan of this Christmas movie I LOVED THIS. The modified sound bits from the movie were the icing on the cake along with several anime references and such. Great job
@@hijous i dont think anyone would trust disney since they keep wanting to screw with classics and make them worse under the pretense of inclusivity like making white characters black, making clearly straight characters gay, and making characters who's gender is clear as day into genders they are not, disney needs to stop doing remakes and just create whole new stories that are factually for the groups they are pandering to like with black characters they have their own stories to tell and their own marks on history to fulfil so disney needs to tell their stories without just taking another story and race swapping it
@@saygerowi agree with everything you just said, but you have to remember that disney is a corporate body and they don't care about how any of you feel about your childhoods or your nostalgia, they don't care about political correctness contrary to the recent changes being made to classics, and they definitely haven't cared for a while about telling a good story. they know what they are putting out will make them billions, and that's all they need. that's their only goal. i wish people would just give up on disney as a concept--i've never been a fan and even i can tell it is NOTHING of what it used to be, it's inching toward dystopian content farm territory.
Okay. That is NOT how I pictured it going at all, but wow. Top notch animation! Really well made, and it was a really cool spin on the original! Thank you for making and sharing this! :)
I can’t believe I’m just now seeing this, Over 2 years and this has not passed the 1 Million View mark? Some of them are missing out on this masterpiece
Absolutely epic, love how this made Harry and Marv actually seem threatening, an adult home alone(PG-13,cause R would just be a SAW movie) would be amazing and I think this definitely paves the way for it.
This deserves way more views! It’s amazingly animated! EDIT: This video had less than 100K views when I made this comment. I’m very happy to see that it’s now approaching a million! Here’s to millions more!
I knew this would be animated, but I wasn't expecting them to be so good at physical combat 😭 (Also I feel like they're breaking the laws of physics, which is an aspect of anime I was also not expecting to be included)
This video needs more views. This was absolutely awesome. The anime twist and ridiculousness you added to this classic film was much appreciated and actually made me laugh out loud to how awesome it looked sometimes. It's obvious you guys put so much love and effort into this!!
This has the feel of anime from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I clicked on this not knowing what to expect, and I have to say I was _not_ disappointed. Bravo!
The fact the video is very well animated and is over 7 minutes long! as well as Marv and Harry actually trying to kill Kevin only for the old man to literally beat them like he did in the movie and to top it all off them coming back to life because they are immortal just like the movies this video is a masterpiece and I should have watched this sooner damn it
#908 I can't believe this was made two years ago I've never seen it This was incredible kudos on you this animation was amazing I never realized how much I needed this in my life❤😂 This is a Grand masterpiece you've created I hope it gets a lot more appreciation It deserves🎉
You know, when you really stop and consider it, most of the traps in the movies would actually be lethal in real life. That's why this animation is so impressive - it accurately portrays what would truly happen if a kid constructed traps to outsmart two idiotic burglars.
You took what is a Christmas classic, and made it a billion times even more awesome! This is absolutely incredible, amazing, I was glued to my seat when I saw this the first time minutes ago. I salute you for this absolute masterpiece!! I’d absolutely watch an anime version of this movie absolutely splendid work!!!
Kevins’s mom upon seeing the destruction: Kevin! You weren’t fighting the average superpowered criminals again? Buzz: still on that level? I can throw hands with galactic tyrants any day of the week. Kevin: shut it Buzz.
This was great!!! I didnt watch "Home Alone" this past December (2023) for Christmas and I felt sad about missing it. I've watched it every year since it came out since I was 6. This makes me feel complete now!!! I got to watch the movie in January, anime style!!! Sweet!!!! Great animation. You all did justice to the movie!!!!
This was beyond hilarious! Can't wait for the sequel when Kevin teams up with bird lady and together they defeat the wet I mean sticky bandits in New York.
Phenomenal Work! For some reason, like many others in the comment section, this just came across my Radar today. But, I’ll definitely be adding this on to my yearly Christmas Movie List. And, I’ll watch it every year, after Home Alone 1 & 2. You guys should make more Classic Live-Action Movies & Series into Anime… Your Channel will sky rocket to success, if you keep it up.
Love this. It retains the funny moments and injuries the two burglars from the film and made it more of anime fight scene but nails it the whole way through. the last part of the old man burying them under the snow fits well too
I can't believe I'm only just now seeing this, this is absolutely incredible!!! I was not expecting any of that, and whatever I was expecting was not as epic as what actually happened, haha, I love this!!
I got to admit. This kind of looks like Home Alone if it took a bit of inspiration from Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach. Just without the superpower, the jutsu and magic elements. Just has the combat elements to it.
The old man going buff reminded me of Master Roshi from the Dragonball series when he powered up to extinguish the flames surrounding the Ox King's Castle by using the Kamehameha Wave attack👴🏻💪🏻🗣️💨🔥🌪️🏰
