Yeah, before then they had the classic teacher/student "love/hate" relationship, because Bobby was always getting in deep do do at school, she looked great in the uniform though.
Flathead had a roll in the hay with his wife's sister which ended up producing his arch enemy. In the early years he wanted Bobby arrested and she hated Flatheads guts.
@@godjenta66 I didn't realise Bobby and Sophie were related, totally forgot they had same surname Simpson. Storylines were great back then, and better than Neighbours. You later find some of your parental skills have come from watching H&A as a kid 😂
@@voodoomotion5855 When H&A began it really showed Neighbours up I agree, it was more modern, fun and fast paced, and more exciting. Neighbours felt like it was 20 years behind the times in 1988.
@@voodoomotion5855 Yes it does. However it was one of a few continuity errors. Alf had a relationship with Coleen.Smserts daughter Maureen who turned out to be his niece because Coleen was his half sister. Coleens mother Mrs Hickey had an affair with Gordon Stewart, Alf's father.
@@voodoomotion5855 Bobby and Sophie were only adoptive related. Al Simpson adopted Bobby but Sophie was his blood daughter. Mrs Simpson worked for Martha Stewart Alf's first wife who later reappeared played by Belinda Giblin who earlier played Cynthia Ross. Michael Rosses ex wife.
