The home arcade itself is very impressive, however all those cabinets that you've built yourself steal the show! I'm impressed about the quality you've put in these!
Atari cabinet is clever to squeeze in that space. Time pilot, Simpsons bowl, elevator action, and dragons lair are my favorites. I have legends pinball too. Clever you turned your NES into arcade cab. I bet Gen z kids love Need for speed, cuphead and fix it Felix games. I understand why people like crt but lcd is best for reliability, saves money on electricity, easy on circuit breaker.
Yes, that is true about the CRT is a definitely take a lot of power but a lot of my original James I just like to try to keep them Original and kids love the need for speed and everything
Are your Golden Tee and Silver Strike cabs running on mame or did you find original hardware to run them on? I'm thinking this might be a good solution for me.
Nice set up, it’s like watching one of those videos where you nurse animals back to health except it’s arcade games. A lot of hard work restoring those machines. Way to keep that era of our youth alive. Very cool!
Awesome collection Btw how do you like your legends pinball? Also did you know Arcade1up is building a similar casino Cade just like your wheel of fortune?
One of the less great home projects. I LOVE the Cuphead-cab. I plan to do one too but I guess it would fit nicer in a Space Ace-cab since it is a cartoon-based game. And since I have DL and Space Ace I guess this will complement the row :)
The Nintendo and Atari self made cabs are awesome. Wish I was that talented. And also you made fix it Felix and cuphead cabs? Wow. I've always wanted to make a 3/4 scale donkey kong. I fear it's way over my head though. Impressive arcade.
Where did you get the Silver Strike X marquee. I upgraded my 2009 live to X and would like to change out the marquee but they only come on the pedestal versions.
appreciate the content, so much nicer looking set up then arcades that got all my paper route money back in the 80s/90s. seriously beautiful basement, so been into pinball for a decade plus and looking to add a few arcade cabinets to my home arcade. really want a umk3 what is a fair price for a players condition and price for a mint, also what are the good websites for finding games for sale and info? thanks
Nostalgia overload!! Now, this is a real arcade. Not like those crappy modern day arcades like Dave & Busters where it's mainly ticket games and hardly any video games. Just a glorified gambling hall for kids.
If this is your house, you must be the most popular guy in town for throwing parties. I'm in my 50s and would spend hours playing these memorable games. I remember the sounds from the Tron game would stand out and if you had a white shirt the blacklight cabinet would light you up like a neon.
Really nice arcade you have. I'm looking to put a Space Ace together. What brand/number computer is your cabinet running? I picked up an empty Dragon's Lair/Space Ace cabinet that needs work. Your channel will be a big help in my process. Thanks
Thank you for the kind words you’re very welcome as far as a computer set up I really don’t know a real good friend of mine did it all so I can’t really say what it is lol works really well though if you have any questions or anything let me know I’ll try to do my best to help you out
WOW.... This has got to be the best home arcade setup I've ever seen... Awesome job...Is the Golden Tee 2019 a download version? The latest I can only find is 2006. Thanks for sharing....👍
@@troylukans2174 thank you, for sharing your incredible arcade! When I was a kid O remember learning the "infinite time" trick on ghost n goblins, something like summoning a sorcerer exacly when time was about to run out. Than time became infinite.
@@troylukans2174 Nice man, the place looks great. Big props to you for all the hard work that you put in to that place. The care for the machines, the work to keep everything safe and running. It truly takes a lot of effort.
Nice video. I see you're a big 1970s and 1980s arcade fan. They are a huge part of your collection. Do you have any plans to collect more 1990s games from companies like Namco or Sega?
I do have a teenage mutant ninja turtles. I’m going to restore I have a neo GEO I plan on restoring at the moment I think that’s the only 90s games I currently have to restore
Just awesome Troy! I have a 400 sq ft workshop that is rapidly becoming my own little arcade, my marquee collection all over the walls, I own 7 pinballs, including a new Godzilla Premium, own a Neo Geo 29" candy cab, got an old Asteroids Deluxe cab for SEVENTY FIVE BUCKS and running mame through it and LOVE it, built another mame cab as well, but pinball is my main love. Cheers!
It’s always good to start with checking voltages from the power supply to the board with a multimeter. I don’t have any videos on how to do that right now, but there are plenty of them on RU-vid you can look up.
I’m the 500th like 👍🏼 awesome arcade. Boy do I miss arcades. These new arcades don’t size up to coin op arcade! Double dragon and 4 player crime fighters are my absolute favorites!
This is just ARCADE UTOPIA. The best ORIGINAL home arcade I've ever seen. Not just a bunch of arcade1up minis. You are preserving gold. Thanks for showing us this heavenly room😁👍🤙🕹
I love thqt you have original arcade cabs. Too many people brag about their Arcade 1up collection and although they are nice, nothing beats the original cabs with original boards in them. And those you built yourself look close enough to be "original" so kudos on that. Atmosphere and setup is great and brings back the nostalgic feel of the arcades I grew up with and miss to this day. Great job on everything!
