Being an Indian female solo traveller, your videos are inspiring me on a whole new level. Rishikesh is truly amazing. just a tip: you can also visit the backwaters of Kerala in nov/dec.Its beautiful and has amazing ayurveda spas.

I have been here multiple times...this place has it's own aura...its not the highest of the himalyas or most scenic mountains...but the spirituality, blue water of ganges , chanting of Shiva, it feels out of the world 🙂

Hrishikesh in India is the favorite place of a person whome we know as Steve Rogers (Chris Evnes) he mentioned that in one of his interview that he went there when he was 19 and stayed there for one year

Exciting aura with a blissful existence! Felt so while watching! Good luck. If possible you can try going to Shimla Hanuman Mandir once that you are in Uttarakhand. I feel like you will love it definitely. It's a place of peace and tranquility!

Hey kate! Great vlog and of course its exciting...i've visited rishikesh like 5-6 times recently and i must admit i am in love with this place! I just wish if i could someday settle in rishikesh! I went there 8-10 days ago and it was great...turquoise waters! Maa Ganga aarti at parmarth niketan, dip in the holy ganga, yoga, meditation, beatles ashram, neelkanth mahadev temple, kunjapuri temple, neergarh waterfalls n lots of food! I just want to stay there forever and immerse myself into yoga n meditation! :)

Rishikesh is utmost love for me as I was born on banks of Ganga and my cycle of life will end into Ganga too. I love standing in center of Ram jhula bridge around 4:30am ,and watch the sun rising right in middle of hills. I do it in month of July usually

Rishikesh got craze among Foreigners Because of Band called Beatles , They had Visited Rishikesh in 1970s and since then they adore spiritually of the place , Even 2 members of Beatles embrace Hinduism .

There are many good hotel there.. Most of will price between 500-1000 rupees which is almost $7-$12 per day (depends on your bargain power) But if you are a foreigner then they may try to ask some overprice rates. So Just try to bargain hard and harder..:) Best of luck sis..:)

There are many hotels and Ashrams in Rishikesh. Local people bargain with foreigners a lot. So ask the people of your region bout stay as they may advice you better.
