I recently challenged myself to make a short film in one afternoon documenting the place that I live in. I used the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 for all the shots adapted to my Sony ZVE1. I used a range of apertures depending on the depth I wanted to create. I filmed in 4K 25p (10bit422) and colour graded using my luts in davinci resolve. All of the audio was captured in camera too with my RODE videomic pro. I also added a grain overlay to make it look similar to 35mm film as that was the feel I wanted to go for. Wow! There is something unique about how the water splash looks with this lens. I can't quite put my finger on it. And the way the out-of-focus bits look. I would love to see more of these old-lens adaptations onto newer bodies look, going forward. Great job on incorporating the ambient sounds too.
