FYI crafters I found that artist textures paper for $3 at the dollar tree for the thick pad tear off sheets. Now I know what to do with the paper, thank you Julie
When I first started following your channel these lives were what I enjoyed the most. I was thinking a couple of days ago how I wish you'd do one again. Thank you for listening to your subs!!!
*YES, you DO have a future as a water color artist 🎨 Julie❣️ Your art school degree is showing, LOL. 😊* *I have those bi-fold and tri-fold gold picture frames and have loved them for many years...but they have family photos in them❣️😉🤣 Guess I will continue to be on the lookout (BOLO) for additional frames like them to intersperse them with the family photos 📸 after I upcycle them with DIY "art", which will most likely consist of birds, 🐦 butterflies 🦋 and moths, insects (including beetles, 🐞 bees, 🐝 and dragonflies) as well as plants 🪴🍃🌾🌿and flowers. 💐 🌺🌸🌻🌹🌼 THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION, JULIE❣️😉 My favorite items ❤️ from the Atlanta Market are the wrought iron bird 🐦 on a spindle and the large wrought iron wall pocket. 💯*
Amazing, how you see what could be. I love the large purse/tote. But the watercolor stamp print has unlimited possibilities. Thank you for another eye opening video.
I also thought pillow cover for the 1st one. I loved the one with the wooded slats at the end with the open sides. Thought it would look adorable on a table as a mini runner.
I’m a doily and lace girl, and the first basket with the dogwood floral is my favorite! The muted colors and amazing textures make my heart sing. Thank you, Julie
Julie, I love your ideas!!!!! After I watch your videos , I get excited to go to my local 2nd hand store to find treasures. So I definitely need you to give me ideas because I would have never thought to repurpose those frames.
I enjoyed all the projects. The redesigning of the gold trifold frame with the white paper and blue stamped leaves was really great. Those frames were quite the favorite in my home as a child. My school pictures were usually placed within. I have one suggestion regarding that particular project. I found the metal on that particular frame to be a bit too shiny, too "new" looking. I'd be interested in seeing it with a smidge of antiquing wax rubbed over the frame just to take the shine of the metal down a bit which would add a bit of "age" to it. I really enjoy your creativity and how you repurpose your finds. What fun it is to watch you do your thing!
I love the idea for the crocheted items. I have a bunch of those crocheted glass covers and those little baskets were adorable. I liked the water color paper and what you did - thanks for showing us how to use the watercolor paper - it looks do-able. Thanks for sharing!
I am so impressed with your insights and abilities! I see how you like the fake greens and flowers. Did you know this way to clean them when they get dusty? Pour salt into a bag with them and shake! Works so great! 😊
I love the Doorly what you did with the doilies they were gorgeous I never thought about doing something like that with the Doorly I really like the small ones that you fit over the pot that was all you all it is is brown paper around that pot in that over it it's gorgeous I love it keep up the good work I love watching you
I love all the framed pieces ❤️ I have a tendency to thrift old frames so thanks for the inspo! and was skeptical about the lace but turned out adorable!
Ok...I thought you were making a pillow at first out of the large doilies..lol But, the finished bag is my favorite. Now I have to find stuff to make one myself. It's is adorable ❤️
I just love it all! I loooove what you did with the doilies and lace and crocheted mats! So pretty! The items you chose from the Market are awesome! I especially love the rusty wall pockets, and the bird on a spindle is darling. I look forward to the vintage drop! Thank you Julie!
I have a macrame bag with cane handles that I stuck florals inside and hung on the front of my bedroom door. Couldn’t believe when she put florals in that Doily bag.
