It’s just a house who cares. I work in 3 new houses every week as a hardwood floor contractor and refinisher and some houses should be tore down and build the right way from scratch. Some turds aren’t worth polishing
Yup that CAT makes that house into a house of cards in the wind. Of course if I had the humiliation of the city deeming my house unfit I would want the execution of my old house over with quickly as possible😩. Wipe it away while I move on! Of course I don't why this particular house is being killed. Maybe someone with money just wants something newer and cooler on the lot that they just bought . Or the city wants that land space for a park or something . 🤔
Craig Erik That makes no sense. I've seen bigger houses in Europe and Asia get demolished just as quickly. They probably cost just a much if not more and were most likely built to higher standards the this American one.
Bout $25K after permits, missdig, Fire inspection, gas/electric shut down, trailer in the machine, do the job, trailer out the machine, trailer in a bobcat, dumpsters, haul off and trailer out plus final inspection. Might be closer to 30.
I watching this thinking I could have used those windows🤔. A sign should be put up a week before demolition that says "Take anything that can be of use to you".
16 minutes to knock down, but the job isn’t done until the foundation is removed/filled in, the debris is cleared out, and the site is ready for redevelopment.
That operator doesn't mess around. I like to see demolitions like this one. Gets to work, chops it up quickly, and crushes the remaining bigger pieces to toothpicks. Good job! You're a real pro!
Beautiful 🌹🥰🥰💐 nice to meet you ❣️😚❣️❣️❣️😚❣️😚😚❣️😚😚❣️😚❣️❣️😚❣️❣️😚 baby to the moment but I can do it done by the end of the day for you ☺️☺️ to meet me at the moment to me I think it's just the store 🏬 to meet me at the moment to meet you at your house or something to eat and then go ahead to get the day.
The first part of the video was pretty much like that Doug episode where Doug throws a rock at the window of his beloved Patti's old condemned house. Might as well have some window smashing fun! Only the CAT still had to do the wrecking of course here in real life! Too funny! 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Muhammadkaun Really, I do not know the cost. Sorry. I am sure 6-8,000. possibly more. The machine alone is probably 2-3,000 for rental, delivery and pickup.
Wood framed homes can handle all kinds of wind. They’re surprisingly rigid. They do however start falling apart when winds exceed 120mph. Brick houses do too as roofs are a weak point.
@@loafandjug321 ok thats still not q excuse to tear it down people die in homes dosent mean to tear it down people are so easly but hurt an weak to deal 2ith stuff in q beter minor
@@electrical5 I was just trying to get an idea on the cost because I was planning to buy a lot with a house that needs to be demolish and I wanted to see if it was worth getting or not.
@@patriciadinh573 Yes, understood. As mentioned, the cost, even a rough cost is nothing I can help with. I just took the video. Your best bet is to contact a demolition contractor and get an estimate.
So much stuff that could have been removed and sent to a rehab store. like the WINDOWS and Doors and Light Fixtures. Just bad companies not wanting to take time to remove the stuff
Well, it depends on what materials are worth salvaging? This considers scrapping & whatever may be reusable on a cost effective basis. Let alone, the fact, that is a shame to see anything salvagable go to waste.
It depends. I know someone who's house was condemned by the city and demolished due to black mold. Now the lot is being repurposed by a new owner who appears to take more pried in this empty lot. I am still not sure if a house will be built or a trailer will be put there. Yeah house demolition is sad but life goes on.
I do both demolition and deconstruction. Most people don't have the money to pay for a full deconstruction. A lot of my clients have said they like the idea of deconstructing it, but cost and time were not favorable. A lot of times they have guys waiting for the demolition to happen so they can put a new house up or whatever the case may be. There's no "shame" in demolition whatsoever. Deconstruction is a great idea, and such is why it's one of the services I offer, but it's not always practical, affordable or time friendly.
@@smldemolition That's great you do both. We do a hybrid demo/decon as well due to client budgets. But deconstruction will become mandated and more prevalent lowering the price and making it the standard. There will be shame in most demolitions in the near future when reflecting back at the sheer waste of valuable resources. We will see a complete reversal over the next 10 years from decons being the odd house to demos being only in select circumstances. Just like we look back at the Hummer and big vehicle subsidies that were being given 20 years ago, we will look back at demo and shake our heads. Our planet is on fire, we cannot keep demolishing and disposing of resources.
I put houses and mobile homes to rest as well. I've made a hundred or so disappear. I'd like to see the rest of your operation. We both know this is the easy part. Let's see the tedious cleanup. A lot of Demolition outfits leave an atrocious mess. We have cleaned up many unfinished demo's. It's a real problem in the industry.
The modern, cookie cutter, factory built homes with cheaper materials certainly don't. Homes built, let's say, from the 70's on back, last much longer. They were better built with good solid materials.
@@LANESxNOWONLYx no new houses do. Just watched a video earlier about brand new UK houses with tons of defects. A few may last a while but many will be gone.
yea this quite easy like this but in Europe you don’t get away like this. you sort everything out unseat of just getting it down and load it al up combined
