Shawn Stockman was one of the the judges on The Sing Off season that Home Free won. Home Free called Stockman for his blessing on doing this before they recorded it. Obviously, he said “yes”.
They’re so good. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013), Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they did the song justice. Rob (lead here) killed it. Good one QS! 🤩 Were you a baritone?
I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete. The best A-Cappella group for me!! A real Home Fry from the Netherlands!!😊
So I know "Johnny Depp" (or Tim) has a 5+ octave range so I'm going to play it safe and say you sang baritone which means you could likely sing between tenor and bass
aaaannnnddd, you just saw one of the many reasons that we call him Gospel Rob, that man can bring an entire mega church to their feet with a few lines. My guess: You sang low tenor or high baritone. I'd say probably a Mezzo Soprano.
