This is an Original! written by Tim and Chris Chatham I believe. He did a solo recording of this about 10 years ago and Home Free when theybput together their latest album convinced him to use it as the title track. You just want to listen to every song so you can put them on your playlist....teehee good strategy.

@@SauceyDad IMHO there are two groups which represent the absolute pinnacle of a capella musicianship, Home Free and Pentatonix. Now that you are a Home Fry, it is now time to begin the conversion to a Pentafry (Pentaholic+Home Fry). 3-time Grammy winning Pentatonix won the show 'The SIng Off' the season before HF won. Between the two they revolutionized the art form. Both perform a variety of genres, while HF is grounded in the country side, Pentatonix (PTX) is more on the pop/R&B/EDM part pf the spectrum. As an entre into PTX I would suggest 3 songs after which you will be hooked. 'Hallelujah' (most popular video w/ 600+ million views), 'Daft Punk' (1st Grammy), and 'Imagine' (wonderful interpretation of the John Lennon classic). Luckily we are entering the holdays which PYX absolutely rules with the best-selling Christmas albums for the past 9 years and 80+ Christmas videos available to choose from. Once the shock of how good they are wanes, check out their most recent release of 'The Prayer'. It is nothing short of stunning.

Home Free's entire library of roughly 150 songs are all great. Their version of God Bless The USA with Lee Greenwood, the US Air Force band and Singing Sargents, is better than the original.

Yes it's an original written by Tim ( Foust ) and Chris Chatham. This is such a great song and video! There is a version of Tim singing this solo with Instruments. I'm pretty sure it's on RU-vid. Tim had been holding onto it for many years with Austin asking many times to let them do it. He finally gave in! Don't you want to be with these guys during some of the great times they have?

I know what you mean about relatability. Their song "Good Ol Boy Good Time" makes me think of my family get togethers in the summer hanging out at the lake, cooking great food and just laughing! Which btw, is another good one you should listen to. You truthfully cannot go wrong with these guys. Just go to their channel, randomly select a music video and you will be on one hell of a ride!

Listen at those drum beats! Everything about this is fantastic! The vocals of each one of the guy's is so on point! Love the sound Adam did that you just replayed! Austin and his last high note! This is your first original song by HF. If you think you are ready for Holiday songs, I'd like to suggest one. Do You Hear What I Hear (the official video, not the church session) I think is their most visually and vocally stunning Holiday song. I'm sure others may have a different favorite, so I guess you will eventually have to watch them all and decide which is your favorite.

Now that you've been around the block with a capella quintets, I think you'll agree - PTX is the group you'd bring home to meet Mom and Dad; Home Free is the group you want to party with (tailgate or backyard BBQ); and VoicePlay is the group you want to go with to a movie or theatrical production (They'd turn a Broadway musical into a sing-along, and/or just highjack the stage).

Other HF originals I know are Good Ol' Country Harmony; Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget [w/ a walk on cameo of another A Capella group's member] and Cross That Bridge. Gotta agree with you about the Jeep. I want that Jeep!! You may already know, but "Land of the Free" is the title track of their latest album. It has a patriotic theme & most of the tracks are available as videos. "Brothers in Arms" is on the album. Check out their version of "My Country Tis of Thee" (which is also on the album).

Some other originals written by various members of the group are "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget", "Snowglobe", "Good Old Boys' Good Time" and...dang it, I forgot the name of it. It's the one where their schoolboy selves start the group and come up with the name..hopefully one of my fellow fries can comment and leave the name of the song.

That is a Tim Foust original, he wrote that song with his friend Chris I believe for his solo album. Three of these guys are from the South and two are from Minnesota. It is really fun watching you watch them. Did you buy chance know that this group was started way back in 2000 by Chris Rupp? It has gone through many different people the only original person left is Adam Rupp the beatboxer. You should check out their time on the TV show The Sing Off from 2013.

Another great reaction! They have been adding more original music to their catalog. There are some holiday originals from the album that they released last Christmas, Warmest Winter. I have noticed that Tim always seems to share the deep parts with Adam Chance. Snow Globe is a good example. You mentioned that you have three children. Tim calls them the Small Fries. Try Everything, from Zootopia was Chance's first video and was dedicated to the Small Fries. Cold Hard Cash is another great one for the kids too.

You might want to check out some of their Home Away From Home series. It's sort of a behind the scenes thing they do. As fantastic as they are musically, they are also genuinely likeable, funny guys and it's fun to get more of a sense of who they are. At least for me. But of course you have to grow that playlist so in the spirit of doing that I'll suggest two of my favorites: Take Me Home Country Roads and Can't Stop the Feeling.

Check out Austin’s original song Earn It on his page. There are clips of Tim singing and playing piano on his page too. Oooh check out Austin singing Neon Moon and tears in heaven! You are my favorite reactor!! You are awesome. Home Free nailed it again. Sounds awesome and I can't get it out of my head. As far as the video goes it is (dare I say it?) HOT. It is one big testosterone party. The jeep, the cooking out, the flag, the fishing, the beverages, the fire works and five handsome hunks. I'm a fan of men. Probably because I've only ever had wonderful experiences with the testosterone crew. Adam especially making my heart flutter. YES!

If you want to see and hear it all, get settled in. Home Free are some of the hardest working guys in music. They generally release two videos per month on their channel. Then you have about another 15 solo projects per year. On top of that there are another dozen collaborations with their friends, Peter Hollens, Chris Rupp, and The Hound and The Fox. Tim and Rob even made appearances in VoicePlay videos in the past year. Over 50 videos a year.

My opinion (fellow Maine resident speaking): not yet time for Mayday until you can get all their names right(grin.) I think for other party songs Hillbilly Bone and Friends in Low Places, maybe Honky Tonk Since you said you aren't religious I won't recommend any of those(although you would probably appreciate the Austria mountains in How Great Thou Art video.) For great 5part harmonies: Helplessly Hoping and Auld Lang Syne. For pure FUN: 9 to 5, Butts Remix, All About That Bass. For heart-tugging emotion: Traveling Soldier, Castle on a Hill, One Voice THEN Mayday and Snow Globe And classics: Seven Bridges Road, Elvira, (evil grin) Bohemian Rhapsody (don't nobody tell him why I have the evil grin......)
