Yeah Diana Ross saw this on RU-vid and called them up and asked them to come to her birthday party….imagine!!!! How cool is that?!! Anyway, their fans sent videos in of them dancing. Pretty cute. 🥰😍
They were gobsmacked when Diana Ross called them and asked if they would come to her birthday party in LA and sing for her and esp to include this song. She found them on the internet and her maid, housekeeper or some personal assistant told them that when she found them online she sat all day long watching video after video. They did a run of concerts and left on a red eye to LA to appear at her party the next eve. The likes of Stevie Wonder and so forth were there. They said they had a hard time keeping their cool and their chins off the floor with some of the celebs they saw. LOL I think that is the sweetest story of one of their adventures.
You got to one of my fav ones! 😍 I'm an old-timer so I remember the first version of this back in the 70s. The guys dancing, clothes, and attitudes in this video are spot on for that era!! Love the fans taking part, too! Another one I like the vibe on is their "One Man Band". Your reactions are fun to watch and you have a great smile!
I highly suggest reacting to Peter Hollens featuring HOME FREE doing a cover of I Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by U2. Another of my favorite Home Free covers during quarantine is Everybody Walking This Land.
They actually got asked to sing this song at Diana Ross's 75th birthday party. This one is a favorite of mine for sure. I love that they use patrons for this one. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
They do a whole video as those LEGO characters. It's called Crazy Life and isn't reacted to enough, in my opinion. They also just released an animated video to Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival that is lots of fun as well as musically complex.
I'm so old I remember both the original and "Soul Train"! I think if I had an original song, I'd hate them to cover it 'cuz their renditions are always so good! Other videos with lots of people in them are "Everybody Walking This Land" and (on Peter Hollens' channel) "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" - both are terrific. Love your channel & reactions.
I really do enjoy your reactions a lot! It is so special to see others really open their minds up to something different like Home Free! I would love to see you react to a cover they do called Helplessly Hoping originally done by Cosby, Stills and Nash in 1970 I think! They do a beautiful job with this one, no beatboxing in it but Adam Rupp actually sings instead which is a treat for sure! Another great suggestion is a song they do called Cover Me Up which showcases Chance as the lead! It also has a surprise at the end of the video! Happy listening!
Other HF/ fan videos are "Sold" and "Walkin' this land". If you want to see more of HF as legos, watch "Crazy life", but have kiddo with you, and remember to watch it to the end, it's hillarious.
Such a feel good vibe from this one. I am really enjoying this Home Free ride with you Josh. Thank you for appreciating these guys as much as us home fries.
This was a great video from home free!! Did you notice the little Legos that look like them in the video? To see more of that listen to their song of crazy life… Placing a cute song about peoples every day lives! Be sure you watch it it’s so much fun! Nice reactions
Loved thanks my new favorite artist are HOME FREE and UPCHURCH they couldn't be more different but both fire for HF try there version of CANT STOP THIS FEELING and for UPCHURCH try DESPERADO enjoy
This makes you feel so good that one hardly pays attention to how complex and marvelous this arrangement actually is! Love the song, the HF, the HF fans around the world ... and your reaction! Thank you for giving me a good excuse to listen to this again.
One thing that the guys always joke about is their inability to dance (they've got some moves), but they keep on dancing and we love it! Much like how they have friends and loved ones in their videos, they will sometimes have fans as well. Some, like this video and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" with Peter Hollens have video clips, while their video for "Sold" had fans as extras.
Love these guys! What a great cover of this song by The O'Jays. How can you not feel good & have a smile on your face. They lift my spirits daily! Also nice seeing a lot of their fans in this video. Adam's awesome beatboxing & Tim's low bass are the best out there.
Youth sentiment. I danced a lot to this and I still do when I hear this. With respect for the original, Home Free has made something great out of it! So good!!! Adam Rupp the best beatboxer. The number one
Josh....you hit on another of their best ! Yes, those were fans...not sure but maybe even Patreon members....someone else will know for sure. I really like you to hear Chance take a lead....I don think your heard him sing solo yet.....covers for him taking the lead : Some Girls Do (I really recommend this one, itś just awesome), Yours, Cover Me Up (a special one you have to watch past the music video....trust me itĺl make ya smile). and Dive Bar Saints & last but not least my favorite Chance song Ï can outrun you"and he also directed the video too.....he does a masterful job.
Easiest way to understand the loyalty of their fans is to watch them sing 'How Great Thou Art' after a concert they were doing got canceled due to lightning and thunderstorms in Kearney, Missouri. There were several who recorded on their phones. Off mic after walking through the rain behind some fans over to the shelter.
Whatever the song and video, the Home Free guys always appear to be having a good time. A few recommendations: Inclusion of fans: 'Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' with Peter Hollens Fun cover: 'Workin' for a Living' (feat Chance) Fun cover: 'Can't Stop the Feeling' Fun cover: 'Brother' Compilation of HF dance moves in live shows (esp Tim and Adam) if you want to get a sense for their 'abilities' (not one reactors review but some of us thoroughly enjoy its content *w*): 'Tim Foust dance moves'
They covered Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Peter Hollens & a bunch of fans singing with them. Done during the pandemic someone did a monster of a job editing all the sound & images together.
This is a go to song for me when I need a pick me up. You can't help but smile or dance when it starts to play. The boys have some pretty sweet moves in this one as well. Great fun. Glad you liked it. 🥰🤣
Such a feel good song, so down to earth! Home Free always brings a smile no matter what song as theirs vocals speaks volumes! Awesome Reaction! If want to hear their fan base involved YOU MUST check out... I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For (U2 Cover) Peter Hollens feat. Home Free Peter Hollens is a good friend with awesome vocals also! PEACE
Check out U2’s still haven’t found what I’m looking for featuring Peter Hollens- it was done during lockdown and features fans/patrons singing with them! It’s amazing.
Patreons so home Fries from everywhere ! they usually put out a call when and where or how and Home fries send in and usually it's Jimmy Bates that edits videos but it probably states in the description section who did that part. Yes they Love us as much as we Love them.
It's been awhile hearing this happy song, but I think maybe they changed a couple of locations to coincide with current world events. Always entertaining, and great vocals. Thanks Josh.
Sending love to you from LA. You know you bear a resemblance to Steve Adams of the Memphis Grizzlies? Had to throw that in because it's basketball mania time. Seriously, love your reactions. I'm a new subscriber.
