You are spot on with your assessment of Chance. He is the utility player of the group. Chance has been able to broaden Home Free's sound with him taking on the bass role as needed when Tim has a lead.

I think Chance is doing the entire "bass guitar" part. It sounds just like my old Fender I used to play for my church choir! Adam is doing all kinds of incredible sounds! I've already listened to this at least 20 times & I'm still in awe every time! "What Child is This" has all 6 members singing together, and it's stunning! Tim has said that Chance is their secret weapon, I believe that they are all 'secret weapons'! Wonderful reaction, as you always do, thank you!!

Chance is a superb addition to the group - he can cover so many roles whilst being able to hold a song by himself. He's also freed Tim up a lot more to use his tenor range, which I think has improved massively in the past few years. I suspect Chance gets overlooked as he doesn't 'stand out' on stage, but the band wouldn't be the same without him. This is a beautiful version of this song, so pure. Their voices blend perfectly, of course, Adam's vocal percussion is insanely good, and he and Chance hold down that drum/bass section with absolute ease. They just keep improving.

I think it's a very personal thing, but only Home Free can move me to the point of chills. When I listen to the others, I know I'm listening to very talented people, but I really never connected emotionally with any of them. Tim has a solo album available to buy. It's all Doo-Wop and he sings all the parts. I'm a patron of his so I've heard these songs and they are amazing. At some point, he will release videos for some of them. I saw a bit of a preview for one on his interview with the Charismatic voice. It's 2 hours long and so worth watching.

Look for What Child is this,....it's a collab with Chris Rupp & Home Free...also watch to the end, as there is a terrific family dinner scene after the music, and it's great to see Chance and Chris together. You were so right, CHANCE IS WAY UNDERRATED and UNDERAPPRECIATED by the Home Fries, because as Chris used to be the glue that holds them together, that is now on Chance to fill that role. He's directed 5 or 6 videos and he's also brought the concepts of more than 10 videos to the guys. One is Moonshine, that you haven't reacted to yet

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I love PTX's version, but Home Free just made it so much better! I heard it first on Spotify and I was so excited to see the video! This is definitely not just a cover, it's an upgrade!

Tim has a 5 octave range. He will blow your mind, he is absolutely amazing!!! He sang tenor in high school. And, later when his voice changed he enveloped all 5 octaves. Chance was the last one to join the group. He has only been with the group for approximately 5 years. He took Chris Rupps place when he went solo. I loved CHRIS RUPP. He and Adam, his brother, founded the group. I LOVE every member of the band, but my favorite is TIM! I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THEM FOR 15 YEARS. Your reaction was vrry good and THANK YOU for reacting to it. The song, "MARY, DID YOU KNOW" is my favorite CHRISTMAS song. And, HOMEFREE did a phenomenol job!!! PRAISE GOD! The Rupp brothers started singing at Lutheran colleges in Minnesota. They are more than just outstanding vocalists. They take their faith Seriously. And of course they LOVE to have fun. But you can tell that when they are singing hymns and gospel songs that they are loving singing about their faith. They are worshipping.

Don't know about the chicken leg! But pure velvet closure. Love that fry onset to so many notes too. Really like how you pull focus on all the little nuances. They are just spectacular. I got to s÷ them in concert Wed Dec 1st. They were fantastic, funny, great. Texas hill opened for them. If you get the chance to go see them, I highly recommend it. First time going and it won't be the last.

Great reaction. These guys never disappoint. I have followed them for years. I wasn’t too sure about Chance at first but he is a wonderful addition to the group. What I love about the a capella groups is that they can cover the same songs and will sound completely different. Not better or worse, just different and then you can decide which version you like best. And there's no BS between the groups. And very little drama between the fan bases. Mostly because many of us are crossover fans. We may lean toward one group's style or sound but most of us are mature enough to see there's room for everyone. You're going to hear a difference between Home Free and PTX's version and I think you're going to appreciate them both! Another wonderful reaction! ❤
