Next do one of their more serious songs...react to "Helplessly Hoping"....your ears will love you for it...no beatboxing but pure rich 5 part harmony...it's simply SUBLIME !!
Great reaction! The Home Free guys aren't afraid to make fun of themselves - but they can also handle really serious subjects. Try Hillbilly Bone and Sold.
Adam Rupp does so many crazy sounds like that one you caught. He's just insanely talented. I love that they all had copies of "Bass Magazine" with really nice photos of themselves on it, except Adam whose picture looks like he just got out of bed after a really rough night. You mentioned PMJ. Have you seen their cover of "All About That Bass"? It's amazing as well.
They are so talented but then their personalities come into their videos and that just completes the whole package! That's why they're so great!! Also since your dad had a country bar, look into HF and their "Dive Bar Saints" song.
Love the fact that Home Free guys don't take themselves too seriously, they are entertainers for sure! Helplessly Hoping is a don't miss, it's only 2 1/2 minutes though
They were originally known as the only "Country" acapella group when they won the "Sing Off" show in 2014. They now do covers from many genre's, all with their own magical touch, from Gospel to Rock to Rap. This rabbit hole has many tunnels... Explore and Enjoy...Welcome to being a "Home Fry" or collectively "Home Fries". Keep up this content and they will come...
They actually did all genres before the sing off, but where turned down in a couple of prior seasons. Once they applied as a solely country act the got snapped up because no one else had done that before.
I have laughed so hard I cried watching the gag reel! It is one of my go to videos when I’m having a rough day. When Adam and Chris dance behind Tim I lose my mind laughing probably because I have 5 older brothers, so I appreciate it. I relate to the director who can’t stop laughing watching Home Free LOL! 🤣🤣🤣
If you're up for a little more serious, check We All Want What We Ain't Got, End of the Road, and you should do Mayday since you've become more acquainted with the guys. Also check Colder Memory lapse what were they thinking.
Chris Rupp, the guy in the cowboy hat, and a founding member, has a critique/reaction to this video on his channel. He dishes on some behind the scenes things. It's funny, too. Great reaction, as usual.
Home Free is just amazing with the fun they can have and turn it around and have a sad, heartfelt or just something that is just...real. Thanks for your reactions, you are very good at it. Maybe consider....Feelin It...Friends in Low Places...or...I Like The Sound of That...for fun. When you have time.
Straight No Chaser got me into acapella, they put out a parody song called "All about that bass" to the tune of the song, but own lyrics. There are copies of it on YT. Even better, at recent virtual concerts they had Tim & Austin as special guest stars and Tim came out to sing this song with them!
For a bit of fun watch champagne taste on a beer budget then watch full of cheer which is a kind of an unintentional follow on from champagne tastes. I know it’s not Christmas but well worth watching the second one.
Have you listened to their "Sound of Silence" or "Misty Mountain"? "Misty Mountain" is preformed be Tim Foust and Peter Hollens. They both are fabulous.
If you want something that is just great singing try My Church, In the Blood, or how Great thou Art. No matter how funny they are their skill can't be matched. Also for diversity there is Thinking out loud/let's get in on mashup, take me home country Roads or country fried pop medley
I had never heard of this song before I saw their video, and it absolutely made no sense to me - and it still cracked me up. I have since seen the original. Still doesn't totally make sense to me, but I still laugh. I just rewatched this and finally realized that all of that stuff with Tim posing is related to his "Me" during the intro. Of course, i's all about THE BASS. Duh.
Love your reactions to Home Free. You should check out their cover of "Country Roads" it's not a funny one, but it's got amazing harmony and a little bit of soul. Also if you want another bit of humor from these guys, but smooth singing, check out their cover (they dropped it around Valentine's Day) of "I Swear". Thanks!
I love Home Free - their group ethos is not to take yourself too seriously. Another is being respectful of women (which is way in the Butts Remix, it was their 'butts' on display. Adam & Chris Rupp's sister had done business with a modeling agency and that's where the women came from). Any band that's about peace, love and having a laugh is the one for me. Not to mention their skills are out of this world!
I agree you should look at Mayday, but I recommend you get a few more Home Free songs under your belt, such as Sea Shanty Medley and Hillbilly Bone. Country Roads and My Church are good ones too. After you get a good understanding of how each guy sings, then you can check out Mayday and get blown away.
@@danuttall he does not need to look at any more. He has a great grasp on music in general and understands the role of each singer. I hear this argument a lot when it comes to Homefree and I do agree a certain amount of songs are needed but when you have his understanding of music in general then I believe that argument is moot.
Enjoying your reactions to Home Free. I actually got so sick of this song, but HF redeemed it for me. I've rarely if ever seen a group that puts so much fun and positive energy into their music. And Rob is my spirit animal.😁
Ring of Fire is a must see, but for some more incredible A Capella you need to hear Pentatonix. Everything they do is incredible, I recommend Hallelujah , Sound of Silence and Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone), for an introduction.
That was awesome. It was funny that my kind of dad did not believe that the bass was about your booty. He made me sing it. Realize I am in my 50 singing this song and people told him it was about a booty. Never did it again. lol 🎙🎼🥰
If you go watch Meghan Trainor's original video for this song you'll see that Home Free not only countrified the song, but also the video, and it's brilliant! Great reaction! There is a behind the scenes video for when they filmed this and it's even funnier. 😁
If you like the country reminiscence you should check out their version of Sold! By John Michael Montgomery. Pretty funny and with one of Tim's lowest notes. I also recommend their take on Folsom Prison Blues, for those lovely low notes.
I think this is why a Home Free fan and an ARMY get along so well in our house: They're all basically the same type of crackhead - just like us! 😂 Edit: Btw - come Christmas you should definitely add their version of Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer to your must see videos! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is so goofy but so good. Love Austin’s yodeling. Yeah them playing with the horsies was too funny. Love your reactions, you have me laughing too. How about something more serious but great…try Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, I Can’t Outrun You.
If you really love Austin's yodeling listen to "Thank God I'm A Country Boy". It's another funny cute one. If you want a more serious song try "Helplessly Hoping" or "How Great Thou Art". Those are amazing as well. Really any song they do is amazing!
Absolutely love the positivity of your channel, that’s what got me subbed 👏😉 This one is hilarious for sure, glad you enjoyed it ! If you want to hear more yodeling, try « Thank god I’m a country boy » (another hilarious video too, one of my favorites 🤩)
You should check out the Leo Moracchioli rabbit hole. He covers songs that are not metal and makes them metal. He plays all his own instruments. Starter videos for him....Toto's Africa and Adele's Hello.....enjoy
It's funny you mentioned PMJ in this reaction. If you haven't heard the PMJ cover of "All About That Bass" you have to react to it. I promise you will LOVE it. The arrangement is spectacular and the singers are absolutely amazing. Casey Abrams (aka Casey Bassy), Haley Reinhart, Morgan James and Ariana Savalas are all featured. There is a surprising bass duet, solo? You'll understand why there's a question mark there when you watch. -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aLnZ1NQm2uk.html
