In this video I react to Home Free singing Unchained Melody which they recently dropped on their channel! This is my first time watching this performance. I love the setting and the VIBES in this one! I am so happy I watched this one! I NEED TO SEE MORE!!! They are amazing and their music deserves so much more attention! Next on your Home Free journey should be a reaction to One-Man Band....its an awesome song and you'll appreciate it is all done in one take....it's an amazing video. Simple yet intricate to and full of video & music greatness...and it is chill and a great way to intro the baby in to Home Free !!!

The Righteous Brothers had a big hit with "Unchained Melody" in 1965. Home Free did such a beautiful rendition of this classic song. The video in prison is very fitting as this song was originally written for the 1955 prison film "Unchained". The film centered on a man who contemplates either escaping from prison to live life on the run or finishing his sentence and returning to his wife & family. The song focuses on someone who pines for a lover he has not seen in a "long, lonely time".

I would suggest End of the Road, One Man Band, Brother's In Arms and Mayday. After all that Tim Foust has a solo Doo-Wop album he's released. He does all the vocals for that and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/ Stay will blow your mind.

Austin Brown has an awesome solo on this as well.................It's called Doo Woop. I worked in education in a Maximum Security prison. Most of the corrections officers would love it...

Congrats brother and YOUR LIFE IS ABOUT TO CHANGE FOREVER !!! This is a tribute to the original, sung in a movie named "Unchained" from 1955. Just an awesome cover. As we Home Fries say..."Home Free doesn't just do covers, they elevate music"....Give us a short video when the baby comes !!!!

This is done with the original reason the song was written for……the movie UNCHAINED IN 1955. A guy is in prison, trying to make his mind up up whether to try & escape & go on the run.

Such a good rendition. Home Free went back to the original that was written for the movie Unchained in 1955 about prison. Loved the video. Loved the black and white film and the typewriter. Loved Tim and Austin’s solos. Good reaction Greto. Sorry for your wife but if you think you’re having trouble sleeping now wait til the baby comes! Hahaha. 😆😀

This song is amazing and the guys in prison, the feels. They know how to sit down and figure out who will sound better doing what part then putting it together with where and how it will work best. This did the trick. Congrats on the very soon to be there baby. My oldest son was born a month late. Doctor didn't get the timeline right. LOL

Absolutely adore this cover. These guys could sing the dictionary and create a hit. Their music perfect. The video absolutely spot on. Home Free hits it out of he park yet again. I can't even take my eyes off the video because it is so dramatic and artistic.

Everyone know this as a righteous brothers song but originally it was on a 1955 prison film sound track. they took it back to the original and I for 1 love it.

CONGRATULATIONS 🍼on the new little one coming into your lives. Home Free is paying homage to the original singer Todd Duncan who sang it in the 1955 movie "UNCHAINED" in that same year there was Al Hibbler, Les Baxter and Roy Hamilton the jump ahead to 1984 and the Manhattan Transfer who did a remake of a cover. I didn't forget that Bobby Hatfield ( the RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS) has the most acclaimed and popular version 1965.

Home Free and their harmonies!! Such powerful visuals and a remarkable version of the song ❤️ I know it hearkens back to the mid-century movie and they portray it spectacularly, but I do hate seeing our guys behind bars. 😕 However, they can definitely "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there!! ❤️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Just FYI - they're almost always going to sound country 'cuz 3 of them are from southern states. Tim Foust (bass) is from Texas; Austin Brown (high tenor) is from Georgia; Adam Chance (bass/baritone) is from Alabama. Both Rob Lundquist (lead tenor, beard & glasses) and Adam Rupp (beatboxer, co-founder of the band) are from Minnesota.

I'd love to see the baby - whether baby is asleep or awake doesn't matter (as long as taping doesn't wake baby up). Another ballad that might help put baby to sleep is "Love Me Like That". Although it's a break-up song written by Austin (after a break-up) it has a ballad quality. The live versions taken at concerts are heart-breaking though.

Like many songs, I love this one from Home Free. They just give it a twist that it will be a real Home Free song, but still respect the original. The whole thing is so amazing again. The leads, the background (doo-woop), the bass, the harmony, the emotion, the video where they bring back the "original" story, the black and white image, the shadow of Adam on the wall etc. Austin's solo performance is great to, but cann't match this performance

If you like do-wop you DEFINITELY need to react to Tim Foust's solo songs from his new album Pieces of Me. Tim is the bass in Home Free but if you haven't listened to some of their songs that highlight his range - you might install a seatbelt on your chair first. He has three out now.

I agree! Tim's solo doo wop album is crazy good! I've loved all 3 videos that he's released. He is a killer with this style! I'm curious as to what genre he might do when he does a volume 2. Or does he stick with doo wop? It'll be solid gold in any case!
