For me, no one else in the group could have done as well as Rob does here. His beautiful soul voice is so suitable for this song that the respect for the version with Stevie Wonder remains, but for me it is certainly no less than Stevie's. Rob nailed it. But also Adam with his unparalleled vocal percussion/vocal sounds nailed it.. This just sounds great. The harmony and the ground trembling bass line is so good.. But let's not forget the humor of Home Free. Home Free not only sings so well, but they are amazing.

You almost have to watch this video once just to catch all the hilarious stuff they are doing in the background, and another for the vocals. I don't know why but the way Rob says "neath" in "neath the mistletoe" get me, I love it.

On Austin's & his lady Amberly's channels, the cats & dogs make regular appearances. On Austin's video of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered", there are deer hanging around his back deck! I guess they wanted to listen as well.

When the guys decide on a song to cover or an original to record, they each sing the song to decide who sounds best singing which part. I guess that just proves there's no egos involved, just what's best for the music. Of course Tim did say in an interview that Adam was the magic of HF and no one tells him what to do lol. He evidently does his percussion tracks last so he can decide what sounds are needed to make the song perfect. I get to see them in nine days and if I get some decent video I might try to send it to you. I love Christmas in July and Merry July Christmas to you.
Yes Rob was perfect for this lead and I laughed so hard because of the way they were baking looks like me during those crazy last days before Christmas. This one was filmed at Austin’s house. The pit bull is Titus. They have a little dog named Koda, a cat named Winnie, and another cat named Dawg. I think Dawg wanders the neighborhood a lot. Dawg makes numerous video bombings! When you get around to checking out Austin’s solo work, Dawg can often be seen lying in Austin’s lap or near his feet. He even made an appearance in Home Free’s collaboration with Peter Hollens on Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. Two of Tim’s critters and three of Austin’s critters are in their video for When Will I Be Loved.
