Johnnie, this song is such a BANGER !!! Percy Sledge sang this 1st in 1966 and then Austin didn't just sing this he *SANG* this. I'll suggest again, "EVERYBODY WALKIN" THIS LAND" Home Free recorded this in response to 2020's civil unrest....you'll be impressed !!! You must hear Home Free singing "How Great Thou Art“. It is everything!!! My sweet Moma fought hard, but in her last days, Home Free "How Great Thou Art" was the one thing that calmed, and comforted her. She passed in 2020, so we weren't able to celebrate her life with her loved ones, because of covid. We played Home Free's "How Great Thou Art" at her burial. It's phenomenal, and will always hold a special place in my heart!!!
Thank you for your reaction. Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

I think you would really love Home Free's song "People" Ft. Jeffrey East. It is perfectly in sync with your philosophy - maybe even more than "Everybody Walking This Land."
Jeffery is a musician in his own right and a good guitarists. this one is one of the few songs where Home Free uses (or lets their feature use) instruments.

The music that they make with no instruments, and just their voices has been done by others, but they are among the best. You have a very good attitude! I wish more would try harder to have one! The lead on this one (they take turns) is Austin. He is a high tenor, from Georgia. He has classical training, and can switch from "country" to classical. Not easy to do. The bass is Tim, from Texas. But I think he lives in Nashville now. The tenor is Rob, beard/teddy bear) who has a great voice, and is from Minnesota. The baritone (usually wears baseball cap/short beard) is Adam, but everyone calls him "Chance (his last name, since there are two Adam's). He is from Alabama. And the beatboxer is Adam, from Minnesota, and one of the original founders of HF, with his brother (who is now doing solo stuff). Two-time beat champion. They are ALL very talented, and they don't just cover one "type" of music, but many. I've watched them for years!

Love this so much. I'm a huge Austin fan!! Love them all of course, couldn't have the greatness without each one! This is just so great. Have you watched the 2-3 gospel songs they've done? You seem to be a Christian (me too) so How Great Thou Art (wow!) and Amazing Grace (great) and Go Tell it on the Mountain. Several Christmas ones, but maybe you aren't ready for those just after the holidays are over! If you do though, Oh Holy Night and Mary Did You Know!
