Question:will this follow the same pattern as Undertale the Musical? What I mean is, Undertale the Musical has an actual script that contains dialogue and action that takes place between the songs, and I've heard they intend to dub those scenes as well and release it as one big story. Do you plan something similar for this, or is it just songs? (Also, in case you're wondering, I haven't watched these yet. Kinda think I should wait for the series to be completed, but maybe not...)

bearandrocky1 Oh good. I look forward to that. I'm curious, was this inspired by Undertale the Musical? Maybe people should start bringing this up whenever someone asks them to do Megalovania. I will say though, that it will be weird hearing anything but their voices. Especially Toriel and Undyne. Also, do you have a list of songs? Because I'm curious how long this'll actually be. These songs don't seem that long, really. But I'm glad this exists, because it's a good compliment to Undertale the Musical(which covers the Neutral and Pacifist routes). Also, looking at the description, it seems Frisk chose this path themselves, which I feel is far more interesting than the usual possession explanation people give for the Genocide route. Like I said, I'm not sure if I should watch these videos now or wait 'til the final product is finished. What do you think?

While I am a HUGE fan of Undertale the Musical, I've actually had this idea for much longer than I ever knew about MOTI! As far as comparisons go, though, I do have to say that theirs is definitely much more professional than this one will be. But I appreciate your support! I do have a pretty solid list of songs put together right now, but I'd like for a few of them to be a surprise. I will say that I only plan on producing 18 songs, though. If I were in your position, I would honestly just watch them as they come out. As fun as it is to see the full product put together near the end, I know that the hype waiting for MOTI to release the next song is always amazing, and I love feeling like I'm a part of their process! That being said, it's definitely up to you as to when you'd like to watch these videos. Regardless, I'm extremely grateful for the support!

Chare Gre 1. They can't admit that they are the true villain. That they are the one to choose FIGHT or MERCY. 2.They hate Chara. Because they're the only one keeping the players under the rule of CONSEQUENCES. 3. Some of them are too stupid. 4. They saw too much of comics and animations. You know, those always show that Chara threatened Frisk to kill, to fight when Frisk tried to do the Pacifist run. And most of Sans fight animations show Chara fighting Sans instead of Frisk. 5. AUs. Dusttale, Aftertale, Killertale(what ever this one is called) their concepts are like...'Chara resets to do Genocide a countless times and it drove Sans crazy." something like that. I think those are the "reasons". Do those make sense? Maybe not. But when ever I tried to make people think that they are good, people always say something like... "Fuck you. That's just a theory of stupid people" "They are just evil, okay?" "Fuck off" "They ARE evil" "Get dunked on" (not over used at all, huh?)

Jitrada Tep to be fair, the only time we actually see Chara is...yeah...that probably left a bad impression on people. plus, most people think about Undertale's story from an in-universe perspective, rather than gameplay. same reasons why the fight animations aren't turn-based and don't involve picking options in a menu. and from an in-universe perspective, there would be no player to blame. personally, this is how I view the story: I think that in life, Chara was a sarcastic jerk who hated humanity, but I don't think they were evil or that they tricked asriel. now, as for the game itself, I see the Pacifist and Genocide routes as two seperate outcomes. we know Chara, confused and maybe soulless if flowey is to be believed, bonded with Frisk when they fell. this would happen on both routes. I believe the split would happen the first time they fought a monster. I believe that if they fight back, it leads to Genocide, as the more they kill. the easier it becomes to kill, and they quickly lose themselves to the power of LOVE. they eventually start to see monsters as nothing but stepping stones towards power. and eventually, they start to enjoy killing. I'm using they to refer to both of them, by the way. in the end, though, Chara becomes powerful enough to actually manifest physically. I feel like Chara couldve taken over at any point after Snowdin, but they chose not to, because they believe that they were revived to help Frisk(in fact, they even call Frisk partner.). I believe that at the end of Genocide, both of them have been twisted beyond recognition. Now, in the Pacifist Route, things are much less eventful. without the power of LOVE, Chara is still a sarcastic jerk (if you believe they're the narrator on both routes, that is. otherwise, they're completely silent), but they're also not strong enough to manifest as anything other than a voice, hence why they never appear like they did in Genocide, and the only real evidence of their presence is the flashbacks. because only Chara or Asriel would have memories of when Chara fell down, and Asriel isn't exactly going to be helping Frisk. but I believe that, in the end, the Frisk and Chara save everyone, and Chara realizes Asriel was right. this is my opinion, by the way, not fact. there is no "correct" theory when it comes to this, so even the people who think Chara is evil are not necessarily "wrong". which is a good thing, because I like it when things are ambiguous enough that people can make all kinds of theories. however, I don't like when people argue over which theory is "correct". people have opinions, after all, and if you don't like said opinions, just ignore it. it's not gonna hurt you in any meaningful way if someone doesn't agree with you. this last paragraph I'd directed at everyone who argues about this stuff, by the way, not just you.

Jitrada Tep all I can recall is that chara chews you out. but I generally ignore repeat playthroughs and such when thinking about undertale as a story, I guess. also haven't ever actually done the genocide route myself, though I have seen videos of the whole thing. for that matter, haven't really played undertale itself much at all. stupid school... but again, I've seen everything that happens. to be honest, if it wasn't for youtube, I never would've bought the game.
