All I can imagine from this song, is when you're playing one of those driving games in arcades, and you're on the "continue?" Menu, watching all the high scores roll on by, and the 3D Palm trees zooming by.
You're out of your mind: Music starts Nothingness: 0:21 80's land being formed at: 0:27 80's car being formed: 0:41 You start driving it: 0:54 Get the picture?
Dyami Woods mmmm I can see that beautiful delorean forming on the dark black asphalt that will talk me across the moonlit night to the gleaming city on the horizon.
The year 2062. Mankind has successfully colonized Mars, it is their new home. Man now invisions himself going to Venus. The hallowed words of John F. Kennedy "We choose to go to the Moon, not because it is easy, but because it is hard..." still linger.
Why does HOME's music evoke so much emotion in me? I play out scenarios in my head which I want but could never be, the result of such a realisation is pain. Yet, I'm hooked and cannot stop listening.
Ngl, when I first heard this song (months ago), it was after I’d found HOME Resonance so my standards were a bit high, and I only listened to the first few seconds of it because I disliked the lack of timing in those seconds. Listening to it now, I laugh at how wrong I was to dismiss this song!
How I imagine the song: 0:00: You arrive at Gare de Lyon in Paris in 1983 0:11: You walk up to the ticket counter and buy a first-class TGV ticket to Lyon 0:21: After buying the ticket you walk to the station platform 0:27: Your brand-new TGV Sud-Est trainset pulls up to the platform 0:41: You board the train - First class seat, coach 3, seat 21 0:54: The train leaves bang on-schedule 1:24: Getting on the LGV to Lyon 1:52: TVM: *_2 7 0 K M / H_* 2:21: You get up and head down to the bar coach to get a meal and drink 2:43: You get back from the bar coach with your meal and a glass of red wine 2:57: Another TGV train speeds by
I keep pushing them to play this at one of my school dances. Because I really think that people would like this kind of music. Everybody is into 80s nostalgia now in days, and HOME, and oDDling are really good artist the put a lot of that in their music. Im gonna keep trying but I doubt it will ever happen
This is probably my favourite song by HOME. The beginning reminds me of Stranger Things which is my favourite show and the guitar bit reminds me of a dream I had once that reminded me of my childhood somehow...
That feeling that is a longing for a childhood dream that never hapened is very comon among the synthwave and vaporwave comunity, so I gave it the name resonance. You see I'm a feelings phylospher
@@thebeingdestroyerofworlds8690 YES!!! The very word itself for "synthwave-induced nostalgia" shall henceforce be forever referred to as "RESONANCE" in honor of Home!
This song is really good when I listen to it, it makes me happier. And there is also on Steam the game called No Time, Which is practically a game where you travel back in time with a car and also go on missions, as if it were the movie Back to the Future.
Dad has bod Got my khakis, now I'll show you how it's done Work my hips when I'm rakin up the lawn Drop that beat now stand back everyone Shake my dad buns like they're pom poms Move my body to the rhythm of the song I'm the smoothest dad living under Sun Left my planet now I'm looking for some fun Dad's moves rival Michael Jackson Hey! Shake that dad bod, Dad Shake that dad bod, Dad Movin like a human Shake that dad bod, ya Shake that dad bod, Dad Shake that dad bod, Dad Movin like a human In that dad bod, yeah Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Break it down Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Break it down Dad desires to build a deck Human sweat seeping out of his neck Dad's arms are filled with strength Neighbor will see how strong he is Then that night at the barbecue Dad will party the entire night through Neighbor will stop and watch in awe As Dad's moves break scientific law Ha! Shake that dad bod, Dad Shake that dad bod, Dad Movin like a human Shake that dad bod, ya Shake that dad bod, Dad Shake that dad bod, Dad Movin like a human Shake that dad bod, ya Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Break it down Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Break it down, ha! Shake that dad bod, Dad Shake that dad bod, Dad Movin like a human Shake that dad bod, ya Shake that dad bod, Dad Shake that dad bod, Dad Movin like a human Shake that dad bod, ya Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Break it down Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Shake that dad bod Break it down
I had this song stuck in my head for so long and did not know the name of it. Three months later, as it was calling to me in my recommend feed, I clicked and found it. I am so happy.
red vs blue had a credits song similar to this on one of the season dvds... so inevitably this reminds me of the early 2000s, and my god, how good things were back then... the dawn of modern media, the splendor of the early days...
Behond the wheel , Listening to my supercharged manual V8 Falcon flying up the freeway at 230am on the 60km trip home after night shift with this pumping on the twin 12 inch Alpine type R subs. A massive catchy baseline and the beat on a dark freeway to chill to. 😎
This song gives me a strong feeling of TRON especially in the beginning when the beat drops. It's like you're about to begin a race against someone else on the light cycle bikes
Growing up listening to rock music being a black kid in South Africa in the 90's i got a lot of the third degree from friends and class mates. This reminds me why i love rock. So futuristic you bring it right home for me. I would love to purchase this or lease is for my project i am working on without it it would be hard to continue the flow of my album. I have reached out to many at electronic gems but to you i take my hat off. It is as if you are in my head along with me in my journey.
Some day who will you be? Maybe you l be a fire fighter saving the lives of hundreds across the state's or country's. Maybe you l be a man who builds rockets for the military. Stopping the enemy's power and ultimately stopping an entire world war. Maybe you l be the CEO of your own brand new revolutionary company in turn earning billions in the global success of your power. But who were you from the start. The child hood dream isn't just a dream it's who you are. The child is you still the child you are born as and the child you die as. Who you are as a child those old original moments in life are what make you who you are and always will be. You.
rightfully named home.... even though I'm a huge metal head this chillwave/synthwave/retrowave/outrun what ever you choose to call it, makes me feel at home.
In the song “Oh Sherrie”, the Roland JX-3P patch “Chime” sometimes mixed with the Roland Juno-60 patch “Space Harp” and Roland Juno-106 patch “Pluck Bells” was heard.
I’m 6 years late, it’s 2022 and this is still a banger! I just discovered this song today and I’m sad that I’m late on this song but nevertheless, this song slaps🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Viajante mesmo. Sinto como se um filme passasse pela minha cabeça, sabe? Uma longa viagem, cheia de boas memórias. Ps: pretendo ouvir todos os álbuns do HOME um dia.
