We are Britain’s biggest family or so we are told but with 21 children and our little boy Alfie who lives in heaven I think we are pretty big.
We are Mum (Sue)and Dad (Noel) and all our kids Chris, Sophie, Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Casper, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Bonnie and Heidie.

It was such a shame that it didn't work out for Daniel, but he tried, didn't like it, and will never regret his decision. It is better to try and either like or not like or going through life saying, Oh, I wish I tried to see if I like it.

I went into nursing and hated it and to quit my uni course and have never looked back life is too short and you never know until you try!

@@angelica6560 I did the same 8 years ago (Nursing or Hairdressing) and I absolutely love being a nurse. Qualified now 4 and half years and still love helping people. But, I never thought I would be working in such physical and mental demands and I really hope we're all back to a new normal soon.

@@kellyjeffrey4787 I know the patient care oarr is the best part it really is and that is the sad thing as nurses hate the other aspects of it at times but the rewarding part is taking care I'd people in their time of need! Hopefully things will improve soon x

I think your Phoebee will be an animal rescuer later in life ! Your Bonnie was so sweet with Heidie making sure she was ok when coughing ! In a year you will look back and wonder how you got through all this building , homeschooling etc ! I’m glad you have lots of pie orders ! Good news , and also glad Dan has tried it out and decided life’s too short to be unhappy ! Save one of the old slates and make a Radford nameplate for your home. Poke two hole in at the top and tie heavy ribbon through to make a hook. It can be painted or decorated any which way. Ours says welcome to the Smiths house.

I love how Sue and Noel fully support their kids in whatever they do. They don't force them to endure things that cause them to suffer or hurt. They support them which is what great parents do. Speaking from my own experience of being forced to stay in college where I was really unhappy when I wasb younger by family members. I ended up taking a mental breakdown and was made to feel like a total failure by family.

Wow ! That was exactly like my son ! He was trying out for the Royal Navy he went to Portsmouth and new exactly after 3 days it wasn’t for him just the fact that there was no breathing space was to much for him , I’m 100% sure your son will know he made the right decision for himself . Well done for trying x

My son went to Dartmouth, he persevered & didn't give up, although the training was gruelling. Respect for him, but one cap doesn't fit all. Daniel seems a lovely lad, hope that he finds a career to suit.

That's good that Daniel was able to make that decision. He will do well whatever he chooses to do. I have a 21 year old son who is non verbal and has the mind of a baby. That is one of the things I long for him - to be able to make his own decisions. He is in Adult Residential Care due to the high level of care he needs (I'm a single parent to my 3 younger children, the youngest who has a different disability). I often wonder what choices he might have made. I'm sure being in a Care Home at 21 wouldn't have been one of them. He has been denied independence, speech and freedom. People tell me not to dwell on the "what might have been" but sometimes I can't help it. He inspires me so much, the way he gets by in a world without words. I miss him more than words can express. 😢

My James joined the army as he wanted to be a driver ,he joined at 17 and called home every day crying but his CO caught him and became a mentor for him we were so lucky after his first 6weeks he started to enjoy it he has now done 24years and is leaving in August he would have liked to have stayed but alas it’s a young mans job.
