I'm always so inspired by your library posts and videos! Someday, I'd like to overhaul my space to have a little "library corner" since I don't have space for a whole room. Yours is so lovely!
Hi Paper Tams🖐🏻🌷🤚🏻I have the Harry Potter book by MinaLima too! Love it and I also picked up at a yard sale fist additions of Harry Potter books you could only purchase in Europe back when the first were released! I treasure them. You have great books to share! TFS💕😊🐚gracie
I so do enjoy your videos. We have so many common interests and loves. It's wonderful to find a kindred spirit. I'm currently enjoying Charlotte Moss decorating books from our local library. I grab a book, something good to drink and head to a comfy chair where I can escape and dream for a while. I've just added the ones in your video to my list of books to enjoy. I do believe I'll have to purchase the Mina Lima version of HP. We don't have the HP books and this is a wonderful way to begin to add them to our library. Have you seen the book titled " Remarkable Diaries: The World's Greatest Diaries, Journals, Notebooks, & Letters" by DK ? It's wonderful and I think you would truly enjoy it. I found it at our local library and ended up buying a copy through Amazon at a very reasonable price. (Under $20 hardcover) I don't usually buy books like these but I this one was too good to pass up. Looking forward to your next video. 💗
How do you know if a book is a first edition? I just ordered the illustrated Harry Potter book from your Amazon link but didn’t see any mention of edition? LOVE your interest in books and fine stationery and am so enjoying your videos this Sunday morning! Thank you!
Hi D, you can tell if a book is a first edition by opening to the first few pages and looking for the publisher and copyright information. There is information on that page about the printing and edition. Unfortunately that is difficult to do when buying online. And these books often come packaged in a way that you can’t open the book without ripping the clear packaging. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Great question btw!
@@PaperTamsMedia Thank you for your reply. In any of your videos do you talk about the type of stationery you buy for letter writing & where you buy it? Also, is there a secret to writing words and sentences in fairly straight lines on unlined paper? Thank you! I’m still watching!
Panta our love for gardening books is not unusual. Are you familiar with Bunny Melon’s extensive library of garden books? It’s in Virginia. Very famous and used by many artists and students of horticulture. Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed learning about your career in engineering and how that ties to your love of paper! My son, an engineer, is responsible for introducing me to the world of fine paper and fountain pens. Interesting.
