Ingredients to make Modaks:
2 cups grated coconut
1 cup jaggery
1 cup rice flour
1/2 spoon elaichi powder
1 spoon ghee
Salt according to taste
1 cup water

Hello Archana Kaku, so the story is last year in 2017 I came to NY, USA for my further studies from Mumbai. And during the ganpati festival we have a tradition to celebrate festival in my house located in Konkan for 7 days. Since I was not there i was really missing the festive vibes and ukdiche modak made by my Aai, kaki and aaji. Since they were in konkan I couldn't contact them and your video was being a great help since I made my first ever ukdiche modak. Tumchi recipe itki simple ani chatkan hoti ki modak kadhi zhale kalach nahi, thanks for such recipe videos you are definitely preserving the culture in younger generation through such medium.
