Wow, i love both. Tje store bought one has a more clear tone, while your handmade one has a softer, yet very rich, mysterious tone. But the fact that you made it yourself and it sounds that good! Thats impressive 😍 Btw, do you sell your handmade ocarinas? And where did you get zhe store bought one from? 😊
Kind of hard to get a real sense of either with all the reverb, curious to hear what the home made one sounds like without effects. B is a pretty unique key for an ocarina!
Both sound good, though your handmade ocarina looks really cool and sounds really great too. I'm pretty much /HALF TEMPTED/ to ask if you're selling any handmade ocarinas like the one you crafted, because I really like the design. Sorry if that sounds weird. . . 😓
Hard to tell since its not raw audio, its all edited. The question should be "who are you buying your ocarina from?" As you might know, not all sellers are created equal
I don't think it's a very fair comparison. Multi chamber ocarinas don't have the same resonance as standard, single chamber ocarinas. Yours, of course, sounds better in a vacuum. But that's because it has physics on its side. The STL multi chamber ocarina sounds beautiful and only slightly less resonant than yours, which is a huge feat when it comes to the physics behind it. Having multiple chambers means that each individual note and section is less resonant. The fact that they were able to get it sounding that brilliant under such constraints is really commendable. None of this is to say that yours isn't good, I just wanted to point out some of the differences. Do you sell any of the ones you make? Kind of interested
