November - the only month of the year that it will be so warm and beautiful that you can be playing, barefoot, in the backyard at the beginning of the month, but by the end, it's snowing and you're building a snowman.
Okay, so that RARELY happens - but it did this year!
As a photographer, I pay super close attention to the weather, and TYPICALLY it is really beautiful the first 10 days of November (which encompasses the first weekend, maybe the first two). There are (obviously) exceptions to this rule, but over the last few years, we have had absolutely beautiful beginnings to our Novembers.
And that is exactly what happened this year (evidenced by my videos of my children soaking up all the Vitamin D they could!)
What is pretty rare though is getting snow in November - let alone enough snow to build a snowman! It's pretty debatable whether we had "enough" snow for a snowman (I'm not even sure if we got a measurable full inch), but somehow Braelynn made it work. (Where there's a will, there's a way, right?)
I know, stop talking about the weather Kara, geez - but this seriously has to be the craziest monthly film I've created for our family just because of the weather spectrum - it's wild.
Of course, the huge highlight in the month of November is Thanksgiving. We celebrated this year by hosting Nana at our house for a few days! We had so much fun having her here. And we had Thanksgiving dinner at my parent's house.

(8:16) We put up our tree early, but we don't decorate it until after Leander's birthday party - we held his party early this year so that some extended family could celebrate with us, so we were able to decorate our tree a little earlier than usual!
