I had a 76 nova and that was the best $300 I ever spent. Words cannot express just how much I missed that car.

Just bought a 1979 nova with 24000 original miles. Time capsule! Inline 6 a/c car.

Beautiful color!! I can't believe that he had no previous body or welding experience. Very well done, and great gas mileage to boot!

I always liked the look of the Nova's. Nice car and there's so much you can do with a straight 6 for performance.

I'm impressed with the results! For someone with no real painting experience, your buddy has minor imperfections that someone would really have to LOOK for to find. And the Rally grill is definitely a gorgeous upgrade.

I miss my 76 NOVA SS ... The NOVA SS has a different interior.. Biggest mistake I ever made in my life was when I sold my NOVA...??!?

I had the same year color of Nova, except for the interior, mine was I think hounds tooth, with a factory 4 speed transmission behind the 250, which actually got it up to 101 mph with the 8.25 inch 3.42 limited slip differential

good video. 4th gen are cool looking. not strikingly beautiful in the conventional sense. but has endearing style that grows on you.

I had a 76 oldsmobile omega. Looked almost identical.

I owned the 77 Nova here in London in 1984, 250ci engine but it had an auto shifter on the centre console and split seats?? It came from a surplus auction at U.S air force base Lakenheath, Suffolk UK. Do you know the model variations? all I know is it originally entered Belgium (or Chevrolet had a factory there!) I dig it and I'm gonna try body work also on my car I attempted last summer but made alot of mistakes so I'm gonna try again and paint my rims so I think it looks dam good myself
