I grew up with Andrew and his brother as neighbors. I have seen their auto creations all my life, even owned one. They have always seen the world in a fresh and new, dare I say, different way. Keep on keepin on

The first time I saw your video was when I saw that massive co-living project as I was looking for collective farming ideas. Straightaway subscribed. Today I really didn't have time for a half hour long video on rat rods (or so they appeared at first). I wanted to skip after a few minutes.. you know what.. I couldn't! The gentleman although in his own words he 'doesn't read very well', he is an excellent story teller and you have the patience to ask good questions and absorb trivia into the videos... So one sentence stopped me for another and I ended up watching the full video! Great stuff.. Much appreciate your work. P. S. - please tell the gentleman that he is awesome!

'What got you into making those things?' asks Summer. My thoughts exactly. Summer always find the most interesting persons. Thoroughly enjoyed this episode! Great addition of flavour to the Flock Finger Lakes series!

A lot of people stick to mainly doing things by hand. For example doing the gardening either hand till or no till. There are a multitude of techniques that can be found through youtube. Including on my friends channels like Green Gregs, Sustainable Stewards and Rainbow Food Rocks

Wow, great video. I was having a bit of a dull day and a bit depressing as it was wintery looking out, just had a blah feel. Then I watched this video, what a mood booster! I was totally excited by it and was hooked. Andy is a mechanical genius and I hope to see one of his vehicles driving around someday, I will keep my eyes open, just might catch him at Wegman's! I grew up around cars and trucks. My family has multiple generations that worked as mechanics. My dad and uncle installed Diesel engines in the 70s/80s, they started doing gas to Diesel conversions during the energy crunch. From being around all of it, I got to the point where as a kid I could identify a lot of the engine brands by sound, so this video really spoke to me and brought back memories. Of course I enjoy many of the other videos from Flock so far as well, they have inspired me to do a few new things on my land.

What a fun video, Summer!! Saunder deserves recognition for such a fabulous video editing and filmmaking!! It left me wondering how did he managed the far away and aerial shots, as well as the shots while riding the cars. That aerial feel of taking off while riding through the flight path (airstrip) was exhilarating!! Great job!! I thoroughly enjoyed Andy's storytelling and describing the process of putting the parts together. Your questions and collaboration was right on point!! Your videos are providing The Finger Lakes quite an exposure to the world!! 👍🎬🚕🚗🚚🚛🚜🤗

I love the guy's individuality. He is not into competing. Purely for the love of creating his vision. That is artistry. And: "Lets go put on a license plate" I just love how governmental regulation does not bother him much. Pure free human, ego and all.

I think there’s a wee spark there Summer…. I love people with a unique takes on things. He reminds me of a boy I played with as a girl, we built small planes with tiny diesel motors in an old caravan in his yard. We had a test bed for the engines screwed to the ‘van.

If you're looking for an older tractor instead of the new electronic stuff you might look into the Oliver and White tractors. There's some what common in the Northeast.. they're easier to maintain because they have an independent frame with the engine and transmission set inside of it.. major work doesn't mean the tractor has to be split in two pieces. Just make sure it doesn't need an overhaul right away like my Oliver 88 Standard needed. Then it is no longer a a reasonably priced tractor. I think it's in one of my videos.

Kubota! Then decide what kind of tires you need. Do you need them weighted (and which method). Set tires close or wide (have them do at dealership). And get the bucket at the dealer. Rear attachments you can get cheaper on Craigslist and at auctions and brand doesn't matter. I had a standard drive without any bells/whistles and (erroneously) plowed a 10 acre rocky field on a slope without issue (I'm no till now). I had a 50+hp and recommend going just a bit larger than you think you will need. When I was in a bind, I was happy to have that little bit of extra hp.

My BIL does this, not as well. Junk cars (check), remodel cars (check), put together pieces (check), adapt parts from other locations (check). They all work. Nope. I'd rather look at the horses and cows and tadpoles, but that's probably just me.
