He's literally Palpatine's best Admiral. You can see that because even with him holding back a majority of his forces fighting the Republic he still delayed the Republic advance for dozens of weeks. Remember the Clone Wars were always supposed to end in a CIS defeat that's the only reason why the Republic won. Dave was obviously ordered to hold back a majority of his forces by Palpatine and even then he managed to do very well. That's why he hasn't been fired yet, Dave is just the best Admiral in the Empire.

26:30 My heart breaks everytime he takes money from a planet that is in the negatives In the case he sees this, any planet that has the “+-“ symbol means it’s losing money, and when you use your advisors on it actually TAKES money from you. In this clip you were making 5,400 before siphoning money, and afterwards were at 4,700

"divide and conquer" is not what you are supposed to do to yourself, its what you do to the enemy. ideally all of your forces attack a few of theirs and you sew division within their ranks

You have a pretty big fleet chilling over Yavin IV. Your fleet over dathomir retreated there, and I’m pretty sure some of your missions spawned ships there too. You could combine it with either Akbar or your ISD and make a proper fleet I believe there were 6 nebulon B’s and some interceptor frigates. The nebulon B’s were pretty strong in your Aridus fight, but Interceptor frigates are insanely powerful. They’re small, difficult to hit, but have very powerful missiles which can be used to take out shielded corvettes

There is a way to save when a battle is about to start. If you hit escape right when it is zooming in on the planet where the battle is taking place to get the loading screen ready, you will be able to save. Loading this save will bring you to the loading screen of that battle when you.

10:00 Me... I woke up at 7am everyday to see the next clone wars episode. It was my Saturday morning cartoon. 😂 Seriously, when the show was on I GOT THE REMOTE. It was the only time I had full control over the TV as opposed to my parents or my older siblings. Everyone would gather around and watch it with me too, my older brother actually quite liked the show. And so did my dad. The same applied for the late night airing. Course, when I was in second grade, around the time the clone wars movie came out, I had to get up at like 5 or 6 am anyway to go to school, so early mornings were quite familiar to me. I used to play empire at war with a guy who had a rooster as a profile picture by the way, was that you?

Them airing CW that early on a saturday was criminal I was already an adult by that point, but back when I was a kid, for as early as I generally woke up, 7 on the dot was just not it. (usually 7:45 to 9:00) was the time I woke up on weekends growing up.

I hadn't played the game in years since most mods migrated to needing the Steam version a few weeks ago I finally bought the steam version and Awakening of the Rebellion was one of my favorite mods so it was the first I tried. And I'd like to say Concord Dawn really sucks if you're on the defending side, the Mandalorians who aren't on your side will just swarm you before you can really build up any defenses and if you only have lower tier infantry they'll just slaughter them too.

Heads up, there is a important mission on Zhar later in the campaign that is literally uncompletable with this mod. I downloaded it myself and was making some big progress but the mission in Rebelsim is impossible compared to normal awakening of the rebellion.

Interesting goals. Though I do love money as well I dont think I'd be so quick to give it to car, oil, and etc industries. To work for money is quite tough especially lots of it so I'm not so quick to give it to the industries that get lots of money so automatically.

Just a bit of critique, take it how you will: almost as important for vocal entertainment like lets playing as talking is knowing when not to. You can stop to breathe. The story mission the modders worked hard on is actually quite good, but you talked over almost everything, including the text, making me try to both read the dialogue and also listen to your commentary at the same time.
