I suggest using the "leftover bags" for small toys that need to be grouped together. Also you could use them for craft supplies or buy a few new puzzles for the older boys as they get older. Levi will still need to do the older puzzles.

Im 53 this year and i can tell you all the channels i whats you not try to be shinny you dont buy and buy your sneakers you wear with you projects it tells me you look after youself and what you have its neat and clean not messy and your voice your are very good person goodness your blessed young woman God bless

Hannah you might use the leftover bags for school papers you want to keep and maybe stickers or craft papers. And they could be used for household papers, photos, coupons, receipts and such. You could also use them for a change of clothes for the kids to keep in the car. TFS Cheryl

I love those zippered pouches! I use a bigger size in my sewing room for projects. I have quilt pattens stored with the fabric and thread to make quilt tops. I also have clothing pattens stored with the fabric to make shirts and clothes for my grands. They look so nice on my shelf instead of the cardboard boxes they were in and I can see what’s in them!

I would use the extra bags as 'time capsule' bags and store the stories and homeschool pages you wanted to keep - perhaps ask each kid to write their age, their favourite game/food/colour/sports team/what they want to be when they grow up/favourite book/cartoon whatever's important to you, maybe put in some nature treasures - like we love picking up interesting stones, moss, seeds and leaves from trees - just somthing that marks that moment in time

It amazes me how something as simple as adding an inexpensive bookshelf from Amazon and a few baskets and containers end up making such an enormous difference. This was quite the incredible organization transformation and it looks FANTASTIC and makes it effortless to find items when you are needing things to decorate a space.

I'm in my 28th year of homeschooling and love to meet new families getting started. You mentioned what to save. I save a sampling of each child's drawing and a sampling of their writings as well as their math tests. I like to include a yearly picture of the kids as well. You'll want only one thin file for each school year.

Your closet turned out great! I like your method for saving homeschool items. I kept most of my stuff until my oldest started private school in the 8th grade. Then we had a burn party. Levi growing like crazy I can't believe he's that old.

Hannah your boys are just so cute! Levi is getting so big! It seems like it was just yesterday you brought him home. My mother was from Kentucky as well. I can totally relate to pinto beans and ham with cornbread. Another family favorite was fresh green beans, ham and potatoes (also from our garden) such great food and memories! Love your channel and being able to follow your family. We always had celery with peanut butter and raisins (mom called it ants on a log).

I really need to get organized under my stairs! I use it as our homeschool closet and extra toy storage. It is a total disaster at this point. In my classroom I have games and puzzles in those bags so keep your leftover bags for future games and puzzles you collect

Hi Hannah, You could use the leftover bags for storing those special pages of school work the boys have done. You could put the year (or couple of years) for each child. Extra bag: I noticed your batteries were loose. You could separate sizes. Use for the markers as well so they are easily grab and go. Clothes pins, extra bathroom items, use for travel, picnics(wet wash clothes, plastic utensils) a few thoughts.
