Did you guys know we have a podcast? It’s an extension of this channel where we have candid, unfiltered discussions about video production, life, and being a creator! m.ru-vid.com
I knew it and was waiting for this one for so long… I’m literally working on a similar setup… can you Becki please let me know how are you monitoring your voice through your head phones? They are pretty far from rodecaster…
@@BeckiandChris could you share more about the stand for the rodecaster? Also, how did you Frankenstein the stands? I have been looking for a solution for the same problems! Thank you!!
Hi guys. Amazing content as always. Do you have a link or the name for the mic stand that is holding your flexible Rode mic? This is an amazing hack. Thanks.
HI Becki and Christ. Can you send me please the link in amazon to buy the attachment you use to put the podcast mic in the lighting stand. You talk about it in the minutes 2:37. thank you. Im enjoy all your videos.
I would like to see recommendations for a lightweight, fast setup but professional looking mobile version of podcast lighting equipment that is usable in various locations, without needing to rent from a near shop each time
Can you show us how you organize your clips in your NAS? Like folder structures so that it is searchable? do you keep all your video in slog and only color gray the ones you edited? How do you use lightroom when your photos are in your NAS? Also, what about your 360 videos? Do you store them in raw format? or export them as some standard 360 videos? or do you make director's cut 2d video than store them?
Great video! Curious to know if you faced any overheating problems with the a6400 if you were recording a podcast longer than 30-40 minutes? Appreciate the help!
Could you tell me what kind of pop filter u use, and how u atach rode psa to this mic stands? can u give me some links im already looking for something like this solution please.
Do you guys have to hit the record button the cameras every 30 minutes since they aren’t considered video recorders? How did you guys over come that? I’m trying to start a podcast myself and have been stumped by recording the video since I’ve had the idea
What are the boom mic arms mounted to? I need something low and out of the way (next to a chair, similar to yours), so I was curious how the boom was mounted that it didn't tip over and stayed steady.
Guys I love your vibes SO MUCH, so aesthetic! I'd love to do a podcast - but maybe when my main YT channel is more established 😅 Nevertheless you guys are a constant source of inspiration for me, and the direction I want to go regarding the style and aesthetic of my content!
Hey the onlything I didn't see linked is the stand you have the rodecast set on. We have a rodecast and are about to move into a new space and that would be super helpful for storage and aesthetics.
I have a substancial amount of background hissing (noise floor) with my zoom podtrack p4 that is picked up in the audio recording and I can hear it through the headphones during the recording session. How do I get rid of this?
How's it possible that the key light is not spilling on the background and the background remains dark while the person is completely lit up with the light? I have godox SL 60 with the godox soft box but the light spills on the background also
I love how you guys have designed this space - the colors, lighting, furniture… damn!!! I’m wondering how this logic could be applied for a Work From Home / Zoom Call / Live-streaming setup. I would love to see you guys’ take on that. Also, how the hell did Chris fit in that table?
Thanks much! I’d be curious about that too, you would have to figure out a way to get your feed from the Rodecaster to the computer for Zoom. Not sure if that’s possible but would be curious to know.
Dang, I am binging on your videos tonight and this space is just giving me the feels. Stunning work, Becki! Love it. I want that kind of space in my house 😄
and that's the end of the infomercial, if anyone can suggest any other RU-vidr's channel that actually shows you hands on and are not tied to sponsors I would greatly appreciated it. Thanks
Love this setup so much. What are the measurements of the space? I'm trying to multipurpose my studio room where I capture headshots professionally and want to get into this kind of video space. Time to maximize my 11x14 room!
Always such great vibes from you both. Love how you’ve literally removed all possible physical obstacles, allowing you to just hit record and start talking! That’s working smart! Please come and organise my life! 😂
As a person who loves indoor and dark colors. Your place's setting is such a beauty, I hope one day when I have my own house I would make it similar like yours tho
Quick question... for the wide angles with you both in shot... what camera settings are you using? I.e what f.stop and are you using auto focus? Cheers!
That's amazing, what you've achieved in that space. I love your basement interior style and how everything you produce is on-brand. I wonder if you might have some recommendations for books/videos about interior design, graphic design and colours harmony? 🙃
Yoooooo… Love Love Love this!!!! Thank you for saying and showing how you make it easy by removing the obstacles of actually filming and or editing… This is what I need to start me podcast….
Yesterday morning, I watched ~3 of your videos and LOVED the black (I'd been on the fence for a year). Yesterday afternoon, I bought the paint and got to work. It's only halfway done but I'm in looooooooooooooooooooooooooooove
Hi Ann 👋 I hope my comment didn't sound as a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful woman with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this complement. If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….🌹🌹🌹🌹
Rewatching this for inspo and realizing Chris names off set pieces with all the surprise of a dad watching his kids open christmas presents. Great job Becki.
